American Exceptionalism the concept of unalienable rights

Newt Gingrich and the author of the Economist article are both incorrect about what creates American exceptionalism. The author of the article is of course disparaging Gingrich because the Author is a liberal and he is expected to attack republicans wherever possible.

It would have been more effective to disparage Gingrich for dragging in God to what is otherwise the correct answer about American exceptionalism.

It is 100% correct to conclude American Exceptionalism comes from Americans understanding we are endowed with individual unalienable rights. It has nothing at all to do with God. The world creator was chosen to encompass any concept, idea or myth about the individuals existence to merely put forth the understanding that you existing is why you have those rights.

What needed to be explained better by Gingrich is ALL rights an individual can imagine are his unalienable rights. The Right to Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness really do define any right possible and ensure it is not possible to define a right that would deny the same to all other individuals.

The individual on his own or in cooperation with others now can become exceptional, once the individual realizes he is the owner of his rights as well as the one who defines his rights along with the most important concept of the rights being unalienable, the individual is not even able to voluntarily give up his rights, let alone have them taken.

The Federal government or more specifically the liberals, progressives and religious conservatives do not understand the true concept of owning ALL unalienable rights by the individual. Evidence for this lack of understanding is the incorrect Supreme Court ruling that created the unconstitutional concept of Privilege. Rights defined by the individual and unalienable are never a privilege. The government has no authority to create or grant rights and it has no authority to alienate an individual from his rights and that includes declaring rights privileges. Another example of this is the entire socialist/liberal varieties of welfare. A person has the right to his life and pursuit of happiness, which includes the property and wealth he creates. There is no condition available to alienate an individual from the right to the fruits of his labors in the name of giving it to others. Gay marriage is another example. The right to happiness in life and the freedom to pursue what makes an individual happy is entirely defined by the individual, which would include who this individual associates with and the definition of that relationship. There is no authority in the concept of unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that allows the government or a society to define the types of acceptable relationships for happiness to be pursued.

What makes America exceptional is the fact that all rights are owned by the individual upon his existence and are unalienable. Knowing you can define your own rights, which includes by default defining and owning your entire existence plus doing as you will with your existence, including keeping what you produce is what allows America to be the best country in the world.

It has nothing at all to do with God. Even if God could be proven to exist as the sole grantor of rights, the fact that God is unable to take those unalienable rights away is what makes those rights only part of the individual.

Gingrich is wrong to make it appear as if God is the arbiter of rights. The reason it is a mistake is both a lack of understanding the declaration's words correctly but also this God sourced rights concept creates a false condition of control over rights outside the individual. Meaning God, or more specifically, priests, ministers and imams who claim to speak for god, will being to determine your rights based on bibles, korans or their own delusions and use those same sources to alienate rights as well. It is the same effect we have now with the various American governments believing they have authority to alienate the individual from his rights. The more dangerous outcome of this is eventually the secular and theocratic political class will begin to grants its own class "rights" to itself that contradict or even attempt to alienate the individual from his rights, including life. Effectively the political class will create its own group rights which do not have the natural control individual unalienable rights have. The control is the individual is unable to grant himself a right that alienates others from their own rights. The political class granted rights have no natural protection from this dangerous concept.

Still Gingrich at least understands we do have unalienable rights, which is significantly better than the liberals in the democrat party who believe the individual has no rights at all beyond what they grant to the collective.

The Founders wanted the states to have to Compete for population and be a check on Federal Power

In this previous post, The Political Shaman described how the loss of the protections we the people had to prevent the federal government from becoming tyrannical. One additional benefit to this is ensuring states compete for population, which is a benefit to the people.

The post describes the protections Madison said protected us. Specifically they are the Senate elected by state legislature and the feds Barred from all forms of direct taxation of the people.

The reason for both are simple. Senators having to answer to states for federal costs is easier for the people to control. Our impact on the state legislature is for more direct than a federal senator. Madison said specifically one part of congress needs to be protected from mob rule, which was supposed to be the senate.

The second part is the money. In effect, Madison said without the money, the Feds can't become tyrants. It costs a lot of resources to oppress people. Also, the states governments, who the feds were to bill for most expenses and the Corporations, who the feds could tax are in a much better position to fight off Federal abuses and encroachment on the rights of the individual.

Had the amendments passed in 1913 failed to be ratified, NONE of the socialism, over taxation, regulation or anything else insane the feds do today would have happened. At least at the federal level, which is the point of this post.

The right of the individual person to define his own rights and have them protected by the Federal Government is the sole reason for the Federal Government to exist. That is the only mandate. Anything that gets in the way of an Individual's freedom, property, life and self defined happiness is wrong and against the constitution.

However, Nothing bars a state government from imposing welfare, insane taxation, regulation or anything else. The Feds are supposed to ensure no state gets out of control. BUT if each state was in fact operating under the original constitution of the United States in regards to taxation, welfare and other programs, then each state is an automatic check on all others.

The concept here is each state would pass laws that would be designed to provide whatever the people of that state desired. If for example, the people of New York want to continue to buy into the socialist utopia, then they are free to tax themselves to oblivion in the name of free healthcare, government handouts or whatever else they think a socialist utopia can provide. At the same time a different state, such as Texas, might have no socialism at all and instead have it be every man is free to earn all the money they want and take care of themselves and anyone they freely choose.

The people of America would then move to which ever of the 50 states provided the best combinations of freedom, social programs, healthcare, regulation or whatever. The check or protection is each state could not get too out of control for fear of losing population. The bottom line is any individual would have 50 different choices to move to and live in the type of state that best suits the individual.

With the Federal Government controlling everything and imposing its undesired will on all, we have no choice. All 50 states are in effect the same. The slight differences in taxation or services is just that slight and not really enough to make much of a difference. Really, the 5% income tax in Illinois, compared to Zero in Texas or 10% in California. Who cares, the Feds are taking at a minimum 15% from everyone working in Payroll(no the employer part is in fact yours, FDR made this an illusion) for anyone who hits the lowest tax bracket, you are now at 25% and it goes up. So 5% differences at the state level mean very little.

Remember, Madison was against all of this tyrannical behavior. He knew then that the people individually would never have the ability to fight of an over reaching federal government. The Corporations and States do have the ability to defend the people from the Federal Government. As of 1913, the Feds are enjoying unchecked power and it will never change as long as they can directly take your property with impunity.

All states are in effect the same and have no ability to stop the Federal Government. The only real option an American has is to leave America entirely for any country that does not tax the hell out of productive members of the society. Since this is not really a good option, lets propose eliminating the 16th and 17th amendments, so we can again have states that are a check on the Federal Government. States free and able to tax whatever they feel their people want to pay for and compete against each other for population to ensure no state is over doing anything. Relegating the Feds back to their mandate of ensuring standardized commerce, justice, security, foreign policy and protecting the Individual rights of the people. Sure the Feds have a few more useful responsibilities but none of them would include education, welfare, housing, what toilet I can buy or even how much money I can carry around in my pocket.

How is it right for people who live off of welfare to be granted the authority over those who earn that money?

I am starting to see why the original constitution only affirmed voting rights to land owners. Not for any reason other than the insanity it is to let people who would live off welfare be granted a majority vote to allow them to steal their welfare money from the people who earned that money or prevent politicians from stealing wealth from producers to purchase the votes from recipients of the pillaging. Both conditions are what we have today.

Forced Unionism - the Debate between right to work laws that prevent unions from forcing people to join

It is shocking there is a debate about freedom vs a group declaring itself a union being able to force anyone to join or even be affected by their existence.

The Declaration of Independence affirmed all men because of they exist have the right to life, liberty and pursuing happiness. Freedom is the most basic of natural rights affirmed and protected by the constitution. There should not have to be Right to Work laws to prevent unions from forced membership because the unions should not be able to force anyone to join them. In fact, the unions should not be able to compel an individual to acknowledge them or to vote for or against them. The right to work is inherent in the freedom declared in the Declaration of Independence.

The validity of the unions is questioned when it has to use force to compel membership, threaten your employment if you do not comply with their demands and force these same victims to pay for it all. How is this different from any past or present theocracy that used force to compel membership in the religion. It has long been established that forcing an individual into a group, religion or tribe is a crime and the fact that Unions must use force to compel membership and compliance shows the union is in fact a fallacy.

If a Union is legitimate it should be able to inspire membership through providing members with some kind of benefit the members feel is important or useful enough to pay for. Using force of government and threats of financial impact or even physical threats is nothing more than thugs using law to steal money and force victims to continue paying for it.

A free individual has the right to work, has the right to collectively bargain and has the right to bargain with his employer on his own. Anything that takes away a citizens right to freedom is illegal and against the freedom this country was founded on.

The Government has no rights in the US Constitution

There are no rights in the Constitution for any person or entity. The people have unalienable rights that exist as soon as the individual exists, no government grants rights nor can a government remove them. Unalienable rights can't be taken or removed by any means. A person can't sign them away, give them up, nor can a group of people vote them away. God can't remove them any more than judgments from a supreme court. The individual defines what they are and no method exists to change rights into privileges to allow the Government to take it away.

The US Federal Government has no rights at all. It has only obligations to defend the country, set up a means to resolve disputes and crimes, standardize certain aspects of commerce to facilitate the economy and above all protect the rights of each individual.

No where in the Constitution does it declare a set of rights to the government. It has no RIGHT to your money, it has no right to tell you how to live, it has no right to dictate what you do with your life or your progeny.

Today and for the last 100 years, the US Federal Government has assumed rights to itself at the expense of individual rights. Such as the "right" to tax the people directly, the "right" to dictate to states regulations like speed limits, environmental regulation of the people directly and the right to know anything and everything an individual does in life.

The fact is the individual should be able to exist in America and have no interaction at all with the federal government beyond voting, juries and a census.

America will recover and prosper as soon as we can reestablish individual and state rights and remove the false rights of the Federal Government.

The Original Fair Tax is still fair

The original constitution had a fair tax before the progressive liberals changed it.

The Federal Government was explicitly barred from direct taxation of the people. They could only tax commerce and states with apportionment. This was done on purpose. Madison argued this was one of the two protections in the constitution to prevent the Federal Government from becoming a tyranny or some entity that governs by decree without any concern at all for the people.

The reason Madison considered this a protection is because it takes money to have a tyranny. There would be no way for the Feds to steal enough money to become a tyranny, With the State governments in between the people and the Feds. The Progressives removed this just before 1920 and 90 years later we now have a Federal Government feared by Patrick Henry.

So what is a fair tax? Simple, no tax at all from the federal level. Go back to the original tax code mentioned in the Constitution which specifically says the feds must effectively send a bill to the states and leave it up to each state on how to pay it. There is also argument supporting corporate taxation. Both are safer because it places at the hands of the people the power of state governments and big business to keep the Federal Spending in check.

There is no way the President or Congress could deficit spend, ear mark spend or spend to the levels of today, if state governments were there to tell the feds to take a hike, every time they attempt to get out of control.

Corporate taxes work because any of the larger companies have the resources to battle Uncle Sam to keep those taxes low.

With the current tax system, the Feds are able to do what is done today, class warfare between income levels, bypass state governments with spending and no individual person is able to stop the government from doing whatever it wants with each individuals money.

There was a reason the Founding Fathers barred the Federal Government from most Tax sources, perhaps we should consider these reasons and protect ourselves by putting this protection back in force.

US Budget 3.7 Trillion and growing - America how much do you plan to let those parasites confiscate from you?

The White House released a budget estimate today for 3.7 Trillion USD.
At no point does the President or any other politician give any indication they plan to stop this unsustainable spending binge they have been on for years.

Calls for a balanced budget are pointless because all these calls demand a balanced budget primarily through increasing taxes to confiscate as much of the fruits of the labor of American citizens.

How about demands the budget become balanced by the Politicians being forced to spend less than what they take in revenue. Simply removing political corruption and waste from incompetence could potentially achieve a 50% reduction in spending and fit withing the amount of revenue forcibly taken each year.

Is it really such a complex concept to force politicians to spend as a normal person would, not waste our money and actually spend significantly less?

Muslim tyrants fall

Events in Tunisia and Egypt with currently occurring protests in Algeria, Bahrain and Yemen to remove Muslim Tyrants all show the failure of the UN and progressive liberal policies of moral equivalency as justification to form any kind of diplomatic relationship with tyrants.

The Policy of the progressive liberal in dealing with tyrants began in the 1930s with the League of Nations and the US as a policy of just letting tyrants do whatever atrocity they committed under the guise of internal politics. While Germany, Italy and Japan spent most of the 1930s, invading and occupying countries like Czech, Ethiopia and Korea the US and League under Neville Chamberlain simply believed these leaders like Hitler were benign people that just need to be understood and negotiated with while they are occupying nations and killing people.

This policy transferred to the UN, this concept that all nations are equal in the UN regardless of the fact that many are tyrannies run by thugs and in many cases have religious leaders bent on killing every other person on the planet.

The UN and US support these tyrants if they leave American interests alone. Past examples are US support of the Saddam to combat Iran, Mubarak, Saudi royals and others. The UN "peace keeping" efforts merely result in stalemates and refugee camps with occasional rape gangs as seen in Africa.

The UN is incapable of choosing the side of right and peace. Actions and places such as the occupation attempt of east Timor, North Korea (a UN stalemate), Iran, Syria, Venezuela and many other countries are in no way operating under any kind of natural right or with consent of the people. The UN should be banning these countries from world commerce not negotiating with them. Mubarak should never existed, Iranian Ayatollahs should never have been in power just as Hitler should and could have been stopped years before he invaded Poland.

The results are seen today. After years of these UN supported tyrannies oppressing their people, the people are finally rising up and throwing off the shackles of their oppressors. The UN and member nations can't even understand what is happening. To the UN, the people are just irrelevant plebeians who have no say, no individual rights or even any direct involvement in the world.

The UN either needs to acknowledge the fact that all countries are not equal. Some Tyrants are in fact Tyrants and they are not legitimate just because their thugs confiscated some geographic space and enslaved the population.

It is time to end the UN sponsored "peace" where civil wars, genocide, tyranny, rape and violence endures for decades with UN refugee camps and UN peace keeping forces ensure the status quo.

Your religion was debunked and proven to be based on falsified information and so called computer models that are skewed to "prove" humans are causing global warming.

The facts are CO2 has gone up AFTER the rise in temperature, just as it has for every warming period between ice ages going back a billion years.

Myths of your ideology are there is no actual reason to accept some kind of "global" temperature or its meaning. WE humans do not know enough about the atmosphere to even guess what is happening and less than 100 years of temperature data from parts of America, Europe and a few other locations amounting to less than 1000th of a percent of all temperature on land, sea and in the air we would need to take to even begin to understand the biosphere we live in.

The facts are you human caused warmists have chosen a nonexistent problem to to demonize and given it a cause called CO2 which conveniently can't be measured, we dont know what actually can be in the atmosphere and it will always be there as long as life exists. In effect a cause you can always state is still a cause and never have to worry about a solution.

With a final problem with your religion. We cant falsify your claims, as long as every atmospheric phenomenon, earthquake and bird dropping is always a justification to claim global warming is a problem and is human caused. As the title of this post suggests, it would seem the Democrats in their zeal to punish success are more than willing to beat down all Americans with more taxes in order to punish the very few wealthy Americans.

Still back to the original Topic. The reality is the Democrats want to stick it to America. They are not actually going to raise taxes on the wealthy. This is because most of the Democrats themselves are multi millionaires, Their buddies in Hollywood and many other supporters are all wealthy and the Democrats are hardly going to tax themselves and punish their comrades. The Democrats were thoroughly smacked down in most of the country and they still push their liberal socialist agenda. This would be amusing if these politicians could only affect themselves and their followers.

Banning blackberries in parts of the world, the question is where do governments get the right to need your data?

Many countries around the world are beginning to ban blackberries. The claim is the governments can't control the data because it goes to foreign servers and is encrypted. This prevents the government from being able to access the data when they need too.

America is not yet attempting this but the American government is also under the false belief that they have a right to our data whenever they feel the need. This need is always couched under the umbrellas of law enforcement and security.

Liberty in American means to live free without interference from the government or society. The government has no right to demand that data be accessible to them forever, in case they need it. There is a need to perform law enforcement, they can obtain a warrant and can make a law that days companies like blackberry should provide the ability to decrypt or provide data after the warrant is in place. Otherwise, data should be entirely inaccessible to the government or anyone else.

We the people have a right to privacy, a right defined by us, it does not have to be in the constitution to be a right. The government is specifically prohibited from watching us like we are all criminals and having access to our data anytime is in effect monitoring us like big brother.

The fact that the data is accessible to the government means features exist to allow access, which can then be exploited by actual criminals as well. Making identity theft easier, because it is easier for the government to control your identity.

The people should demand that everything about themselves is owned by them and the government has no right to it.Our name, data, ID cards, money, clothing, whatever owned or is part of a person's identity or life should be entirely controlled by the individual and the government should have no authority to remove it, control it, access it or do anything with it. In truth, the government should not have to know anything about me except the fact I represent a number in the census count.

Today, the governments in america lay claim to own all of your IDs, such as a passport. The government should issue a passport but short of criminal investigation, the government should have no authority to revoke or take back a passport for any reason, it is yours, your name and as a free individual, you have the right to receive and keep your passport at all times. The government does not need to know when , where or how you transfer your money. The government does not need to know you travel to many different countries, at least when it comes to friendly countries or ones that are at least not antagonistic to the US. The government does not need to know where you work or why.

The bottom line is you and your identity are yours. Identity theft is prevalent because it is the fact the government refuses to make laws protecting your claim to yourself to provide the government access to your data and your activities, which allows for Identity theft to occur. If they made you the sole owner of your own identity, you would be able to protect yourself from criminals and government intrusion because in both cases it is access provided to the government, which gives criminals access as well.

Other countries are claiming similar reasons for bans on blackberries but another unspoken reason is censorship. These less than free countries want to be able to scan and search for those who disparage their governments. America is almost there. The US government already tracks everything you do, anywhere in the world or at least they are trying. Already they are trying to pass laws that makes it impossible to have a blog such as this one or TV stations, or radio or other sources of information which disparages the democrats and their socialist agenda.

When the government already has access to everything you say and do, , giving themselves the power to take over anything they wish, how long before they are banning blackberries here?

We the people of America should be completely disgusted and tired of the Democrat party and its supporters. We were not placed on this planet by God to earn money for those jackasses in the democrat party to confiscate from us. Using Ayn Rand's idea in Atlas Shrugged, why should we not remove ourselves from this country to a place that appreciates talented and financially capable individuals. Without people like you the reader and this author, the progressives will have nothing. They need our money to force us to become socialists. Why should we stay here in a place where 47% of the population, 90% of the education system, all unions and the vast majority of all government employees have it out to take everything we own.

We the people who are patriots of America are patriots of the idea of government created by the people as defined by the Founding Fathers of this country. We are not obligated to stay in a place where the Constitution no longer applies. I am a patriot of the America where freedom is assured, with a government based on the Constitution created from natural law, my rights are mine to define, the government protects my rights and I can pursue my happiness and live my life anyway I choose. America is not this land, it is the people. It is the 45% of the population that still believes the founding fathers created the best country in history.

Ms Rand has a good idea. Why not have Americans take their skills and money to a place that welcomes us. Everyone wants to come to America. What most don't realize is America is the people. It is our attitude, our morals and our culture. We can bring America to any country we adopt and perhaps we should. We can always move back once the progressives and their supporters collapse in their own misery. Why should we stay and let them take everything from us and follow them into the oblivion of socialism they want so much.

Perhaps we could appeal to some country in the world, that is willing to take Americans in and let us transform them into the America people want to immigrate too.

Isn't the saying that home is where ever you and your loved ones are? America is it's people and we can form this government anywhere in the world. Perhaps we should do something as daring as the Founders and separate ourselves from our oppressors so we can again follow the path leading to the American dream. We should want to have the dream back. The democrats and their supporters have a different dream, one where everyone is equally miserable. The American dream is still alive, it just needs a home because clearly the Democrats have decided to alienate and make unwelcome the American dream and anyone who still believes in that dream.

Any government reading this outside of the the United States, consider this idea. If you make laws that welcome Americans as immigrants, you will likely find many willing to relocate. We have money, ethics, skills, morals, fortitude and always do everything possible to help as evidenced by our worldwide generosity. If you believe as we do, that America is a great country, perhaps you can make a second America one based on the original ideas of America and have the American people move to your country and help you create a new and potentially a country that exceeds the greatest nations that have existed in the past.

Obamacare is in and is the next step to the democrats inflicting American with socialism

For the first time in American history a political party has done what only occurred in banana republics, tyrannies and socialist countries in the past. The democrats have forced america into a National Healthcare system that will first tax everyone into poverty for 4 years with no actual benefit and during that 4 years the rest of the law will ensure the private medical industry and insurance industry will cease to exist.

Never before have politicians in America passed a law that had the majority of the population against it. Numbers range from 60 to 75% but clearly the majority don't want it. What is clear is the democrats have nailed shut their own coffin and have likely not only lost power this November but may have killed their chance at power again for 20 or more years. The question is what is in this bill that has them willing to let the entire party lose elections in november?

Here is what to expect from Obamacare.

Taxes going up very high. Of course, the democrats always claim they are taxing the rich and their core voters always buy that line. In reality, these guys are rich themselves and are not going to tax their own money or their friends. It will be the middle class that pays for this. Remember, they need not provide any services until 2014, after Obama's presumed re-election, though he may now only be a 1 term president. So from now until 2014, they will move the taxing from the so called rich , to the middle class. The rich know how to hide their money in ways to ensure no taxing will fall on them and this new law will likely drive the upper middle class into the same tax shelters. If you are retired, expect medicare to become more expensive and have reduced services. Obama claims he will "eliminate waste and fraud" in medicare and use that savings for the new national healthcare. Ask yourself when the last time any congress or president has ever dealt with waste or fraud or when they have ever reduced the cost of anything. Be assured just like in England and Canada, if you are retired, you will not be getting much. They government will set up rules that dictate who gets care when and being elderly is a mark against you.

The worse is yet to come. As the democrats erode this country by confiscating all money, nationalizing yet another industry and creating a so called "right" to healthcare, they are destroying this country as assuredly as any other socialist nation has destroyed itself.

The key is creating a right. The Constiution does not grant the government any authority over rights. WE the people determine rights, the government protects them. Now that the democrats have precedent in creating a right, be assured they will create more and remove the ones they find inconvenient. The government is also taking even more of the economy than at any other time in history. The very protections this country started with to prevent what happened in the House under Nancy Pelosi today. The government does not have the authority to take an industry, nationalize and destroy it and create rights. Those protections are mentioned at the beginning of this blog, limits on funds and senators voted by state legislatures.

People, we need to force the democrats out and force the republicans to repeal this law. We have no other choice. If this does not happen, there is no where else for productive americans to go. These people are doing to us what the bolesheviks did to russia, what the current socialists in Europe are doing to their people and we are headed down the path China is on now.

At some point, we need to return to the America started by the US constitution because there is no room for a middle class in a socialist nation. Only the rich politicians and their poor slaves can live in the society the Democrats are building today.

The democrats in their zeal to impose communism on the people have basically handed the ball over to the Republicans in November.

The Political Shaman will predict the GOP politicians will not reverse anything the democrats do.

Where in the last 70 years has any party reversed anything the previous party did. Sure maybe prohibition could be counted but in reality that had little effect on anything. Do you see the Republicans actually reversing Carbon Tax or Healthcare should they be passed? Do you believe the Republicans will enact a new Bush Tax cut after expiration? Do you think the Republicans will return unspent stimulus money, return the land taken recently in a land grab but the feds to own more land in the west? Do you feel the republicans can finally start to dismantle or make more effective Social Security or Medicare?

Best of all, do you believe the Republicans will reverse the taxes, spending and regulation killing this country?

There is no history supporting any of this. The only thing we can hope for from them is a stalling of the country on its current path to Marxism. That is what the last few decades of history shows. Republicans will slow the damage but not fix it.

It will be a good thing to have the progressives out of power. Just don't get too excited because no one is going to actually fix anything either.

The last few weeks have been incredible with the Democrats causing themselves all kinds of problems. They are losing elections they should not lose, having tickle fests, resigning, not running subsequent terms, taxing the hell out of us, spending more than any time in the past and being called out for pushing their marxist progressive agenda.

The real problem though is the Prophet Obama and Queen Pelosi have not just doubled down, they are going all in and have flatly said they will force their healthcare and presumably anything else down our throats, for our own good.

Here is the question. How can they force the people into anything? A law must be accepted by the majority of the people or the government will need to use violence to force us. Perhaps the American People need to start ignoring laws passed that are not legitimate nor accepted. The biggest mistake the people ever made was around slavery and the biggest excuse justifying it continuing for so long was "the law". In reality, Congress, nor the Supreme Court could vote for or rule in favor of any slave law because it is impossible for either entity to circumvent unalienable rights.

We have a right to live in the country without being forced by the government to do anything detrimental to our ability to live as free individuals. The fact that congress and the prophet may vote or pass a law is totally irrelevant, if the people stand up for their rights and ignore the law. Part of the success of America is the People in general voluntarily follow the law. We follow most laws but not all of them. Most people will speed occasionally or water their lawn against the rules prescribed and have no problem say getting an abortion when it was still illegal or drinking during prohibition. In fact, drug laws are on the books and many ignore those and the rest of the people don't care too much or the government would not have such a hard time enforcing those laws.

It is simple People of America, ignore the laws congress passes that are detrimental to us or are against the constitution. Some laws can't be ignored so easily, such as tax laws, since our money is taken before we get it. For these so called laws, perhaps we need to form a class action lawsuit against the individual politicians for passing tax and spending laws that have effectively ruined the economy.

Just remember people of America, we don't have to take it from the politician, unless they pick up a gun, they can't force us, unless of course they succeed in removing the 2nd amendment.

Middle class America, perhaps it is time to leave...

Middle class America, 50% of the country is voting in democrat politicians to steal your money, force you out of your homes and vehicles and slowly taking every freedom you have.

You are the producers of this country. The engineers, the teachers, the programmers, the technicians, plumbers, mechanics and the ones supporting the liberal socialist programs against your will. Every year these politicians take more and 50% of your fellow citizens vote them in to do this.

Perhaps it is time to leave. American is the best country on earth because of the Americans who produce, who live decent lives and simply want to ensure their own families are taken care of and have the generosity to help others when needed. We are America, not the 50% of people taking from you.

If we leave, they will not survive. There are plenty of decent countries who would take Americans with open arms, treat us well and since America is us, anywhere we go will effectively be America. This idea is not new as it is the main solution in Atlas Shrugged for example. It would not be a long stay. After all, how long could the liberals last in America without the people whose money they confiscate for their ideology and welfare programs.

Not long at all, plus when they implode not only will America be free again for us to go back too, we will be bringing with us other countries likely very friendly to Americans and more than willing to continue the profitable relationship after the liberals have finally defeated themselves.

As long as the middle class productive people stay, the democrats will keep stealing our money until we have none, we are all destitute and we will not be able to leave.

Just a thought because the only other option is to pick up guns and force the liberals to leave but that would make us no better than they are, after all the end result of the liberal marxist path is an army turned against the people, at least every other example of marxism in the past ended this way, why would it be different this time, after 100 million already killed in the last 100 years.

Finally, after almost a year of the Prophet Obama, Queen Pelosi and Court Jester Reid trying to convert American into a socialist utopia, the people of Massachusetts have spoken. The Democrats have lost their filibuster proof majority which effectively stops the Obama agenda in its tracks, assuming the Republicans have the backbone to actually use the 41 vote advantage they have.

It would seem the liberal democrats and Obama their messiah did not learn well the lessons taught by Nikita Khrushchev, former leader of the Soviet Union who said American can't be converted to communism instantly, it has to be done slowly over time. It is a good thing that Obama and his followers do not pay attention to history as we know by their quotes of Chairman Mao and Hollywood celebrities insistence on wearing pictures of Che the Cuban general responsible for killing hundreds. Though perhaps if the progressive liberal marxists in the democrat party did read history, they would know the old progressive marxist agenda is a failure but that may be asking too much.

The people of Massachusetts, a dark blue state has overwhelmingly rejected the democrats and their 8 years of insane government incompetence and spending compressed into 1 year. The situation is grim for the democrats and as the Political Shaman predicted, the democrats did go to their core belief of total marxism and attempted to in one year convert American, which predictably failed. We will see the Democrats repeat 1994 and lose everything again but the question is about the republicans. Will they take up the ball, the American people just knocked out of the hands of the democrats?

Probably not.

You see, the republicans would have to go back to the core Constitutional conservative belief that government is the problem. The republicans would have to actually stop the spending and pay back the stimulus, actually reduce taxes and above all, reduce the cost of government and the effects of bogus regulations.

Since no congress in living memory has actually reversed bad laws, truly cut spending and effectively reduced taxes enough to reduce it from a burden to a cost, it is safe to conclude the republicans will not be setting a precedent.

We can possibly hope for the republicans to grow a pair and at least go back to the 1994 mentality and perhaps make a new contract with America.

It is good news the Democrats have been stopped before they could finish off the country but America will remain on the precipice of destitution as long as the current government and laws remain in place.

The Prophet Obama send troops to Afghanistan using the Bush doctrine for war

The Prophet Obama has finally decided after over 3 months, to send more troops to Afghanistan. His defense of this surge is using the same surge plan that Bush used in Iraq.

This is great, The Prophet has screwed everything else up but at least he made a good move here. Iraq and Afghanistan are different, though and it is uncertain we will succeed in a stable government there, which seems to be the goal. In reality, we only need to kill terrorists there, it really makes on difference on the government installed there but it probably can't hurt if the end result is dead terrorists and a stable afghan government.

The repubelicans do need to calm down on the 19 months. The same guy who ran the DOD for Bush is still in charge and we should take the Generals at their word that 19 months is merely a time when they will consider if they can change the battle plan. We could be wrong and if so, then it would be on Obama's head if he planned to cut and run all along though clearly he is planning to use either a claimed victory or a cut and run as political points for the 2012 election.

Either way, the Prophet is doing a Surge, which worked before and is a fairly good plan to try again. Considering his campaign promises were almost entirely the liberal socialist mindset of we just need to understand those that are saying they will kill everyone, it is nice to see that for a moment a few of his braincells worked long enough to make a good decision.

Climategate... We really didn't need it to know these "scientists" were fabricating the entire global warming hysteria

Climategate is all over the media for the last few days, basically some emails and documents found on a public server show evidence that the so called "scientists" who have claimed that global warming is a human caused planet killing phenomenon were in fact fabricating the entire thing.

Do we really need these emails to confirm what should already be known? Their data comes from less than 100 years of temperature data, that is imbalanced across the planet unless you believe the claim that thermometers in the US and Europe and some scattered parts of the planet some how equals the temperature of the entire planet. They rely on tree ring data which only indicates a warming trend for the last few hundred years and does not prove anything about the cause or if it is even unnatural. Ice core data shows the CO2 rise is actually after the temperature rise and is an effect repeated between all of the ice ages, indicated we are in fact between ice ages though this information is suppressed.

These "scientists" also have arbitrarily set a "global" temperature and chose what the "normal" temperature should be, even though over earths 4 billion year history, there is no evidence for what "normal" should be nor that this measure is in fact effective.

The main "evidence" of all of this hysteria are so called climate models. The scientists use the above suspect and conflicting data as well as the entirely fabricated average global temperature and of course the model will predict catastrophe.

None of the so called causes can be repeated or tested in a lab. CO2 is one of the main molecules in the biosphere called earth, how can this possibly be a pollutant. Actual laboratory tests show that water vapor is a better and more likely culprit for global warming, which is caused by a hotter sun. The sun is also proven to be warmer now than it has been in many years.

The ice core and other data showing the CO2 and Temperature during and between ice ages, is in fact the best indicator of what is happening. This data shows between every ice age is a huge but short warming period(short is relative to earths 4 billion years) followed by a long ice age. Today's warming is neither hotter than the past nor getting hotter at a higher rate.

In short, there is no human caused global warming, the entire thing was fabricated as logic of the "evidence" should show anyone with a brain and proven by these emails.

A real scientist would simply gather evidence and form conclusions based on the evidence. What has happened here is climategaters have decided there is human caused global warming and seek to "prove" it by collecting partial data, hiding contrary evidence and fabricating the rest.

It is time now we end this nonsense. Should we continue we will suffer more than just the massive financial burden for the cap and trade tax on your breathing.

Scientists are moving toward removing "carbon" from the energy production process by storing it underground. Here is the major problem with this. For every CO2 molecule forced underground or otherwise taken out of the atmosphere by one of these methods, is taking 2 oxygen atoms and burying those as well. The Political Shaman has major issues with climategaters, reducing the amount of oxygen in the environment for he would like to have enough to breathe. The only effective way to get this Oxygen back into the atmosphere is to let plants use the CO2, which means leaving the CO2 in the atmosphere. There is no prediction at all on what happens underground if you start filling the empty spaces with CO2, such as saturating the ground water with so much CO2, it becomes undrinkable.

Think like these idiot scientists. They will bury CO2, then when there is not enough oxygen, they will give us oxygen tanks, when not enough CO2 is available for plants, they will find a way to manufacture it. This is akin to the perpetual prescription drug problem of doctors giving you one medicine, then another to counter the side effects of the first, then another pill to counteract the side effect of the second medicine.

Think deep down in your mind, do you really want these scientists, messing with the planet's biosphere?

It makes sense that our burning fossil fuels is creating more CO2, which uses up oxygen. It is a fact that humans do cause pollution. However, CO2 is not the problem. The reason the politicians and scientists want CO2 to be the culprit is because there is no way to measure for the correct amount. It isn't causing any problems, so the climategaters can make any claim about it and they will be right how could they not be right, when they fabricated the problem to begin with.

There really is actual pollution to end or mitigate in this world, such as sewage in rivers. However, that would take real scientists and real effort to solve and these problems would be solved, something no politician wants, solved problems means no power or money to gain, so why solve them.

CO2 and global warming is just a perpetual method for the scientists involved to keep getting grants and politicians to keep making laws to take more money and have a way to persecute those who they don't like.

People of the world, do yourselves a favor and vilify the scientists, media and others involved to shut them down forever. Vote out the politicians involved as well. The politicians are as much to blame for the perpetuation of this and nearly every other problem. If we do not, all of us will eventually be just slowly dying, wearing government issues oxygen tanks, eating government produced MREs, living in government approved locations all in the name of saving the planet.

Politicians claim almost continuously they will solve all problems. Social Security, Unemployment, recessions, medical costs, insurance costs, banking, war and etc... are all examples of these so called problems and how the politicians will solve them.

The real problem is all of these issue the politicians want to fix, were created and caused by the government itself. Any government program having trouble was created by the politicians, so logically the politicians are the cause of the problems. War is another, though in this case it is other countries political leadership that is the real problem. American politicians are only failures here for letting antagonistic political and theocratic dictators threaten our existence for so long and doing nothing about it but wishing these psychos across the ocean will just see reason.

Indirectly, recessions, healthcare and nearly every other problem is caused by the politicians because of their interference through taxation, regulation, borrowing and printing money. It would seem the industries with the most problems are also the ones with the most government interference. Taxation and regulation, including the government protecting racketeering efforts by unions, cause recessions. Bailouts were for the more heavily regulated industries or union protected industries. Healthcare is expensive because of regulation and more regulation is on the way.

How can a business hire an employee, when so much capital is redirected into government coffers. After all, the governments through taxes and borrowing are taking nearly 50% of all capital earned each year, is it unreasonable to think the economy will remain in recession when 50% of all capital is being confiscated by the government?

Americans and people around the world, the problem we all face is universal. The politician, bureaucrat and theocrat are the biggest problems we all face. Getting rid of them and their impact on the world is the best thing we could do for ourselves. This is not advocacy for anarchy, only the replacement of these parasites with men and women who truly will manage the government and limit law to what is necessary for this purpose. Examples of legitimate government tasks are protection of individual rights, protection of the country, mediating disputes between individuals, dealing with criminals and to a limited degree minimizing the effects of fraud from businesses.

Anything else the government does is just the nonsense politicians do for their own personal power and wealth.

The government is the real problem and it is insane for the people to believe the politicians who cause these problems, will somehow be able to fix them.

After voting yes for a "Concept" as the democrats put it, the bill is now in the Senate and will soon be voted on. The Prophet Obama gets a Nobel peace prize for doing....Nothing? At least he is American

It is true. The Prophet Obama actually was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing. The committee that voted for him actually admitted they did awarded the price based on the promises that Obama has stated about reducing nuclear weapons and encouraging peace in the areas of the world where Muslim tyrants and communist dictators are doing killing women for speaking out, genocide and threatening the world with destruction.

The Prophet has exacerbated the Afghan war, Iran has admitted to an extra nuclear weapons facility and no where have Muslim terrorists stopped killing and Muslim leaders still saction violence with their laws. So where is the promise of peace the Norwegian committee thinks Obama is going to accomplish?

Some people were right to wonder what is going on. Basically stating that the prize should go to someone who has actually done something.

The frightening comments were the world leaders who think giving Obama this reward as a prize for bringing America in line with the beliefs of the rest of the world for economics, environmentalism and violence. This is frightening because the rest of the world is a mess and they should be emulating America. If they did, there probably would be peace, less weapons, no more genocides, no slavery, no girls being sprayed with acid, no beheadings and the people of the world would probably have some money to take care of themselves. The world politicians and theocrats have long cherished their freedom to subjugate and kill anyone in the name of their personal power and they want Americans to emulate them?

The Nobel committee in Norway proved long ago they are fools and the prize worthless. This happened the day they awarded the prize to the terrorist Yasser Arafat. That violent animal murdered who knows how many for his power and through his leadership, the PLO murdered hundreds and rival offshoot organizations murdered hundreds more. Arafat practically invented modern terrorism such as kids strapping bombs to their chest to go murder a bus full of other kids. The Nobel peace prize went to Yasser for his promise to stop killing more people.

It would appear the liberal columnist Maureen Dowd is either insane, stupid or really good at protecting her prophet Obama.

This is the controversy caused by Republican Joe Wilson yelling "You Lie" during Obama's Campaign speech or whatever it is called given to the senate mostly on Obamacare.

Regardless of the opinion about Obama lying or not or Wilson being rude or expressing the concerns of millions, Maureen Dowd has created a new non-existent controversy over this to basically deflect the fact that the liberals look stupid with their Standard bearer doing nothing but regurgitating the same tired talking points the liberals have been saying for months about healthcare.

She claims that Wilson's response was not about Obama's claims during the speech. According to Dowd this was all racist. She decided she heard the word " boy" as in "You Lie, Boy" then proceeds to run of a list of supposed racist decisions Wilson has done and groups he is in. She then follows this with "Some people just can’t believe a black man is president and will never accept it." and the rest of her article attempts to create this myth that anyone against Obama is not against his moronic plans, these people are against an African American as president. Obama and the democrats are not spending insane amounts of money and imposing socialism, no the liberals are ok, anyone against the liberals are just closet racists who simply don't like the fact that whitey is not president.

Well Moron Dowd, the Political Shaman will have to disagree. There is no evidence that the majority of the population is racist. The majority of the population is conservative, independent of party affiliation and the people protesting Obama and Pelosi are not racist, they are coming to their senses. It does not take much intellectual capacity to realize that you just can't borrow trillions and rack up more national debt than our economy can produce over years. These people are waking up and seeing socialism being imposed, something most of us know is a complete and total failure, thanks to recent history formed by the demise of counties like the soviet union. The Prophet Obama had his little campaign speech/address to congress on his so-called healthcare plans. The speech itself was just as pretty as all of his campaign speeches, promising the impossible and having no actual substance in the speech that could shed light on any actual solution. The most interesting point is The Prophet has this "plan" of his kicking in 4 years from now, conveniently after his presumed re-election.

The Prophet, the democrats nor the republicans are offering ideas that actually solve the problems with healthcare. Some problems are mentions, such has preventing loss of insurance coverage or obtaining coverage due to pre-existing conditions or tort reform. Here is the issue with all of the politicians idiotic ideas, they themselves and their idiotic laws, their uneven application of laws and failure to protect the people are the cause of the problems, which means the government is the cause and they could fix the problems and it cost nothing extra to the taxpayer or patient.

So why are the politicians NOT fixing anything? The Political Shaman could speculate that the reason is power and money but the reason doesn't matter. History shows that the politicians are either unwilling or incapable of fixing any problem, especially the problems they cause.

The laughable comment the Prophet made during his speech was how he will cut waste and fraud in medicare and use the saved money to pay for the Obamacare. Where in history has any politician cut waste and fraud? The democrats and republicans practically invented the both government waste and fraud and the Prophet who is a former senator and community organizer has had years of experience doing both himself. As a Senator, creating waste and as a community organizer, working for organizations skilled at committing fraud.

So who really cares what the Obamacare plans are, what the republican plans are or any other plan for healthcare. The actual result of any healthcare change by a politician is more fraud, more waste, more taxes, more regulation, more costs, more for their power and more for their pocketbooks and the citizens of American having to pay for it all, history doesn't lie.

So far the Democrats have changed nothing. They are pushing socialism as they always have, are spending money like it grows on trees as the always have, they are still giving lobbyists more consideration than the people as they have always done and there is WAR.

What happened to the promise to bring troops home? The Prophet Obama flatly said he would bring troops home and that the war against terrorism was wrong. The liberal media did everything they could to ensure the war was always on the front page to ridicule Bush with for the entire time. The lib media published the number of dead every day and had various people against the war in the news constantly and the democrats rode that antiwar pony into power, regardless of the fact that the position to let terrorists kill us is wrong.

So what happens after they get power? The escalate the war in Afghanistan and spending on the war is higher than it was under Bush. So where is the promised change? Why are the troops still dying? Why is the lib media now suppressing criticism of the war? Why are they not making big news out of every death?

The Prophet Obama deserves credit though. We should escalate the war until the insane fools who call themselves Muslim give up or are dead. Change here would have been bad.

Still it is a concern about the media and free press and their impartial reporting is certainly in question, since this is the same war Bush started, yet they are not attacking Obama for escalating it as they attacked Bush for years.

As predicted by the Political Shaman in an earlier blog the stimulus would not work. Basically the stimulus spending spree was based on FDRs socialist spending ideas from the 1930s during the depression. Considering the Depression existed beyond 3 years as all other recessions before and since were 3 years or less, we can conclude FDR failed.

Here is the problem with the stimulus, socialism doesn't work. Nearly all of the stimulus is earmarked for every socialist program the Democrats have and desire to make. You simply can't take money from those you feel have plenty and give it to those you feel are in need. Additionally, spending this money to support insane things like cap and trade, unions and other bogus regulations only makes the problem worse.

The last problem of the stimulus is where the money went. The consumer represents 2/3rds of the economy. 66% of all money in America is earned and spent by the people, the consumers. Yet, Obama and his liberal comrades threw this money at 1/3rd of the economy. So what did they expect? Is it really surprising that the stimulus failed when your plan is to take trillions from 66% of the economy, reducing their ability to spend and giving it to 33% of the economy? To make this even more of a joke, the consumers got nothing out of it. No break from union insanity, no relief from taxes or reduced costs on say fuel, no new science producing a marketable technology nor even a break from the bad mortgages.

Mortgages are a good example. It would have been cheaper and more effective for Obama to just pay off the bad, near failing or flipped mortgages, than what was done, which was to buy the bad loans from the banks and make these people keep paying. Assuming anything should have been done at all, since the banks could have renegotiated these loans. Still, why should the taxpayers take a risk on bad loans for 30 more years, when it would have been cheaper to just pay them off?

Apparently the American people are not as blind as the used to be. Polls now indicate that the people do not believe the stimulus had any effect or is not working. Additionally, the majority of people would like the unspent money returned. This makes sense as it would either reduce the massive national debt Obama is racking up or return capital to the 66% of the economy that needs it to get us out of this recession.

Too bad what the people want is contradictory to what the Democrats want, if they admit they were wrong and give the money back, they will not be able to achieve their goal of maintaining power and imposing socialism.

Be assured Obama and the democrats will not return a single penny of money they should never have taken or printed in the first place.

It would seem the Political Shaman incorrectly predicting Obama approval ratings at above 55% forever due to the media giving the Prophet a free pass on everything.

The Prophet Obama's approval rating today according to the Rasmussen poll is 47%. The earlier prediction I made was based on the media's love affair with Obama and the fact that their prophet could do no wrong. It would seem at least one pollster is unaffected by Obama's prophet status.

However, as the referenced article mentions other polls, like Gallup has Obama at 53%.

It may be true the previous prediction was incorrect. Though one poll at 47% does not prove anything, it is possible the media is starting to abandon Obama in favor of better ratings derived from bashing politicians.

Obamacare is a fraud but not for the reasons you may think...

The democrats are unveiling their so called plans for Obamacare and everyone has it wrong. The liberal socialist ruling the Democrat party are not reforming anything, they are not cutting costs or helping solve the healthcare crisis.

There are problems in the healthcare industry but Obamacare does not address any of the causes. Costs are high because of government regulation primarily. This industry is heavily controlled in everything they do, from the way they administer care to the documents they must keep to protect themselves from litigation and the government. From the moment you set foot on a hospital's property to the moment you leave, every single thing that happens to a patient is regulated by the government. Some regulation is necessary but the bottom line is every single regulation and tax the government imposes, is a cost and this cost is passed on too the patient.

The next problem is the patient not being involved in the payment of the care. As long as insurance continues to be viewed as a "magic money tree" for paying for a patient, then costs will be high. If each person had to pay for care directly, you can be assured that the costs would not be so high because patients would begin to look at things like 5 dollars for a bandage as insane and would refuse to pay. As long as the patient is not part of the decision making process for what is paid for, the costs will remain high.

The third problem is Insurance companies barred from competing across state lines. Insurance only works if there are far more payers paying into the insurance than those who draw benefits. The larger the pool of potential payers the better. Insurance companies are barred from directly competing for business across state lines, meaning it is difficult to increase the base of payers and pool the funds to create a better product for all.

The fourth problem is this parasitic relationship between employer and insurance company. This makes sense for an employer because the employer can offer this as part of a package to obtain the best employees and save some on salary by offering a benefit. The problem is because of regulation and the fact that insurance can't compete directly for everyone, the insurance companies are focused only on employee pools and almost ignore or even make it hard for individuals to obtain insurance with favorable costs and services. The biggest one is pre-existing conditions. This farce is a concoction the insurance industry used to basically remove the inconvenience of individuals from their roles. Otherwise insurance companies would deny pre-existing conditions for employer based plans as well.

The fifth problem is preventative care. The government regulation has basically caused this entire part of the healthcare experience to not exist. This is typical of any kind of preventative measure whether fixing a car or a human body. Everything is against this. Taking time off work, being unable to itemize these costs on a tax return, insurance companies basically refusing to pay for it and other factors all contribute to this problem. Additionally, care and preventative measure not of traditional means are also not covered.

The last major problem is medicare. The fact is the existing socialist medical program already heavily influences prices of medical care. Medicare already limits what they cover and insurance companies use this list for what they cover as well. Medicare also reduces the available money each employee and employer has that could be used for insurance benefits.

Obamacare addresses none of these problems. It only seeks to create yet another massive government bureaucracy that is going to merely going to do what insurance companies do now, only at the cost of taxpayers and with no control over what they do.

At first it will appear to work as all new insurance companies do. The first couple of years of massive influx of new money and few people drawing benefits creates the illusion that something is being solved. 3 or 4 years from now when the government has run out of money again and has the wished for 45 million patients they are paying for, the government will begin to do what is being said today. They will ration care, make decisions about who gets what procedure and why. At the same time, they will increase taxes in the name of paying for it all, just like they do today with medicare and social security. This will slowly increase with every congress declaring a need to reform this mess and making us pay for it. Eventually, they will tax and tax until they finally do nationalize the industry and do away with private insurance completely, all in the name of saving the people.

If the government addressed the actual problems, they would not need a new socialist welfare program. The fact is the democrats know from experience a program like this increases their personal wealth and their hold on power. History shows the democrats are very good at this shell game. They create non existent problems and solve them with socialist programs. They tax the hell out of everyone for it, never actually solve the non-existent problem and the people keep putting them in power to continue doing it.

This shell game is the real reason to prevent obamacare from occurring. There is no history of successfully implementing any socialist program and Democrat party history is to use so called calamaties and crises to enhance their own power.

For all of this controversy over the obviously arrogant, likely a bigot and certain liberal Supreme Count nominee Sotomayer it is interesting to note the democrats always resort to tests. Basically, a nominee is only acceptable to the democrats if they can be assured the nominee has a position on certain controversial topic in line with the liberal agenda and his nominee can be assured to rule in favor of liberals no matter what they do.

One of these tests is the entire same sex marriage controversy. This has included same sex civil unions, same sex marriage, the legality of both, the definition of both and of course what makes them legal.

The bottom line is the conservative position is correct, assuming you are a true constitutionalistconservative. Republicans are taking an authoritative position not a conservative one. The Declaration of Independence states correctly that rights are unalienable and list three of all rights possible, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The founders followed natural law and enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and protect it with the constitution. This law is the individual is supreme and the individual defines his own rights. The government does not define rights only protects them. Democrats are wrong too. Not in their defense of the right to define marriage for yourself and choose your partner, they are wrong in their argument to support it. Their argument is to basically vilify the republican position. In reality, the democrats need only reaffirm the Declaration of Independence and the protection of all rights in the constitution. The democrats do not do this because they would effectively make their own arguments wrong and ineffective, for restricting speech with the fairness doctrine and political correctness or their insistence on removing your right to bear arms.

The real problem on the supreme court goes back decades. The court is not really tasked to be some sort of ruling body over all law. This court is also not tasked to be the moral compass of the country. They also have a problem with not correcting mistakes of the past court and they can not accept that the government takes second place to the individual. The court actually believes that as long as the legislature votes for a law, said law is right by default. This mentality is what allows segregation, Slavery and other injustices to exist and the fact is current members of the court and Sotomayer are the same as the previous Justices in regard to this very important problem pervasive in all of government.

The fact is Satomayer does not change the balance of power in the Supreme Court and with filibuster proof control of the Senate to the democrats, she is going to be approved. We will just have to deal with the outcome of an arrogant bigoted woman and her decisions later. We are stuck with this poor choice for a justice, we can only hope nothing of significance is affected by her.

Do not be fooled by the smoke screens, % of GDP is not invalid but numbers like that just hide the fact that the government has been spending more and more every single year.

So when Obama gets on his pulpit and claims he will save healthcare dollars, reduce costs, reduce taxes and somehow all of his plans to nationalize healthcare will somehow only cost a few rich guys more money, do not believe it. All evidence from history about Democrats and their plans is they will cause the price of everything to go up, taxes will go up, the middle and lower classes will pay more in taxes and they will unequally distribute their largess to those they feel are "in need" while the rest of us foot the bill.

All of democrat history for at least the 20th and 21st centuries are exactly that. Republicans have also not done any better. The fact is Reagan was right, government is not the solution to the problems, it is the cause of these problems.

People if you want an easier life, lower taxes, cheaper and more effective healthcare, jobs and retirement then demand the politicians get the hell out of the way. Medicare, medicaid, Social Security and etc are government created programs to non existent problems that have created more problems than solved. We would be better off without the politicians in our lives. Their job is to protect the country for FOREIGN invasion, not search Americans in airports, Their job is to administer the law in the form of Justice for citizens to resolve conflicts or to punish those who abridge the unalienable rights of individuals. Government is to facilitate individuals doing business and living together in a common country and government is to protect rights, not define them nor abridge them by calling them privileges. Force the politicians to pay attention to the actual constitution and live within the restrictions it creates for the government.

The politicans are doing what Patrick Henry feared years ago when he debated against a federal government, they are taking over everything because they are confiscating all of the resources the country produces all in the name of "the people" and under the belief they know what is best for each of us. There is a reason the 9th amendment exists, it assures us that we define rights as individuals and the government, corporations, religions, groups, states, cities or the UN have no authority over rights at all, only to protect them.

History shows a long progression of the politicians slowly taking rights away, abridging freedom where possible and never have they reversed course. There is no year in living memory, where an abridged right or freedom was given back, no where in living memory where the politicians actually used less money and never in living memory has the socialist welfare programs proven to be successful by eliminating the problems they were created to resolve.

The Prophet Obama in is awesome wisdom has decided that depression era economics are the way to go. He has nationalized Banks, auto manufacturers and insurance companies to go along with the nearly nationalized healthcare and utility companies already under harsh government regulation.

The Prophet has gone into deficit spending so high that no previous administration or government could hold a candle to the insane amount of money, including former administrations of the Soviet Union and Red China.

The prophet and his followers have not had time yet to spend 15% of this Trillion dollar stimulus package. The prophet Obama has spent money mostly to support the liberal agenda, welfare programs and activities that support unions,which has little impact in the economy. These are not areas that produce anything, they are one of the causes of the problems.

Since the economy is improving slowly, it is clear the stimulus does nothing because the Democrats have not spent it yet and still the economy improves. Yet, Obama and his democrat sycophants are clamoring for a second stimulus, despite the clear modern proof they are pointless, since these same democrats are ignoring the fact that the depression was caused by this kind of government spending.

Stimulus has no chance to work. It did not work in the 1930s because taking vast sums of capital out of a capitalist economy is counter productive. If this is not believed it is also what the government spends the money on. The engine of the economy is the 2/3 share that consumers control. If a stimulus were to have any impact, it would be a better idea to send that money at the engine of the economy, where 66% of the economy exists. The 33% controlled by business and government is not even half the economic activity yet this is the only place liberals are sending stimulus money, business and government, mostly government.

Liberals who claim republicans only support big business are bankrupting the people to take trillions in taxes and give it too --- big business. Go figure. You would think liberals would be sending that money to "they people" they always claim to be supporting. It is a bad idea but throwing 1 trillion dollars at 60% of the economy would probably have a better impact than what they are doing now.

Since most of the money is not spent, lets reverse this and not spend any of it nor ask for more. Get the government out of the way and the economy will do just fine.

The liberals can't do this for their agenda. They wish for a Marxist like utopia where the government takes care of everything. The best way to do that is to make the people poor, take over the economy and control everything, so the last thing the Liberals want to do is actually fix the economy. The first stimulus managed to ensure the government of the future will control well over half the GNP ever year. A second stimulus will probably raise that control to 80% of the economy. Now that the Democrats are in filibuster proof control they can effectively rubberstamp whatever the Prophet Obama wants to do. In effect The Prophet Obama is ruling by decree. One of these decrees will be Obamacare.

The liberals have long planned to implement the socialist style Government controlled and failed healthcare plans found in Canada and Europe. As with almost everything the Democrats do, they will declare some minority of Americans in Need and the rest of us will have to foot the bill.

The problem is where is the problem?

As reported by an ABCNews and USA Today poll, 89% of all Americans are happy with their healthcare, this included those without medical Insurance.

If 89% of the people are happy, what is their to fix? Clearly the majority of people without insurance are in fact getting healthcare and they don't seem to need to pay for it. Obama's plan will effectively give 219,000 USD for each person Obama declares is eligible.

There is obviously no reason why Obama needs to take more taxes than the average income of the upper middle class for healthcare costs. It would be cheaper to just put these 11% of complainers on anyone's plan and just take a loss.

What is happening is similar to the Climate scam. There is no real problem with healthcare or at least not he problem invented by democrats. They allow the assumption that no insurance means no healthcare, which is not the case. Like the climate scam the Obamacare scam is yet another "problem" invented by democrats, with a nonexistent solution and they can claim it always a problem and therefore tax it forever.

With 89% of all people in the US happy with healthcare, there is no reason for Obamacare, only a reason to allow for normal competition across statelines and possibly change the employer/benefits solution differently so it is more effective and less likely to cause anyone problems.

How the democrats will create a nonexistent problem then Cap and tax carbon,

The Democrats along with every other liberal in the world have convinced themselves that the World is warming beyond natural fluctuations in climate and this warming is human caused and the agent of this imagined problem is Carbon Dioxide.

Yes the stuff each animal and human exhales and each plant needs to live.

Cap and trade as it is called is essentially the liberals creating a "right to pollute" for each entity and individual that exists in the United States. This right to pollute is Caped at a certain amount based on some insane formulas that the liberals will ensure their special interests are protected and even gain from this, while everyone else pays. The Tax or trade part comes in. If an entity such as a liberal protected college does not use their allotment of pollution rights for carbon dioxide, the college can sell the unused allotment to other businesses, which is where the tax comes in. So the favored industries and organizations will gain money from this, as will the government, since most favored entities are government controlled, while the rest of us will see prices on everything go up, essentially creating a tax.

Here is a break down of what the liberals pretend will happen and what will actually occur.

1. The intent of this Cap and Tax nonsense is the supposed belief that somehow this will reduce Carbon emissions. What will really happen is the favored entities will have a near unlimited quantity of Carbon rights, which can be sold to others, ensuring no one needs to reduce anything.

2. The actual effect of Cap and Trade is inflation through this unrepresented tax. The targeted industries and people are those who produce energy, those who make devices that use energy and those people who use the devices. In effect nearly everyone not protected by the Democrats will see the tax. By taxing energy and its use so heavily, the price of everything will go up. Nothing in the United States can exist without energy, we could not harvest, store and market enough food or any other need or desire without energy, so the net effect is massive inflation

3. There is no human caused global warming nor is CO2 the culprit. As Professor Bob Carter demonstrates in the linked YouTube CO2 is not the problem. Each ice age had a warming period in between and the earth today is in one of those warming periods. The data shows the rate of warming and the duration is within the normal activities of past warming periods, all of which occurred before humans existed. The data shows that CO2 rises after temperature rises and this effect has repeatedly occurred between iceages going back as far as the evidence exists. It is impossible for rising CO2 to cause temperatures to rise, if the CO2 rises after the temperature. As noticed for the last 11 years, CO2 continues to rise, yet the temperature has actually dropped.

4. While CO2 is a "greenhouse" gas and capable of reflecting heat back into the earth, it ability to reflect sunlight does not grow as more carbon is in the atmosphere. The liberals claim that the continued rise of CO2 in the atmosphere will in fact reflect more and more heat. The fact is it reflects only so much heat and once at the maximum, any more CO2 has no effect. A comparison example would be sunglasses made to block all light. You could make the glasses darker but once they already block all light, any more light blocking material has no effect. CO2 is exactly the same as this sunglasses example. The excess carbon, assuming it is excess has no net effect on the greenhouse effect.

With CO2 a base molecule in the biosphere of the planet, it is impossible to know how much should be in the atmosphere, when we have too much or too little.

What Cap and Trade does for the liberals is allow them to create a problem that does not exist and then make the claim they can tax it until it fixes itself. This is perfect for a despotic regime. A perpetual source of money and a permanent reason to regulate and control anything in the United States. This works because the liberals defined the imaginary problem, defined the bogus cause and can sell snake oil to solve the problem. The Political Shaman suggests that Cap and Tax is simply another way for the liberals to maintain power, obtain money and create more of both whenever desired.

With the Democrats now owning all of the government with a filibuster proof senate, we can be assured of having Cap and Trade/Tax go into effect.

The EU, like many governments is always looking for ways to control everything, which is consistent with the socialist agenda. One of these methods of control used in the EU as well as the US and other places is this so called anti trust like laws. Those laws are perfect for socialist control of business because they can not be complied with. At any time it can be proven any business is breaking one of those laws because those business basically have too prove they are not breaking those laws, which is impossible. Besides the fact it is impossibly too prove a negative, the laws are written specifically to ensure the government can succeed in prosecuting a business at any time. Successful prosecution always guarantees the government incredible amounts of money as a fine as well.

Of course the other us of these laws is for businesses who are unable to compete legitimately. These businesses will claim anti trust and ban together with the government to force some company to change their successful business model so competitors can get more business, sometimes these lawsuits result in the so called victims getting money as well.

In comes an EU lawsuit against Microsoft. The details can be found anywhere, this blog post is about Microsoft's actions they were required to take. At heart of the alleged crime is Microsoft installing their own free Web Browser on their own Operating System that they sell too the general public. The Political Shaman will never understand how a company is committing a crime when they sell their own stuff with their own stuff but this is a different debate. Basically the victims complained that Microsoft is "forcing" consumers onto its free browser and not offering those customers a choice in available browsers. This opens the question as too why it matters what free browser is used, also who chooses which browsers are valid enough for inclusion in this list of choices and seems too ignore the fact that it take a customer all of 3 seconds to click on and install any browser they wish anytime.

Microsoft's response was too sell in the EU the next version of windows with no Browser at all.

Well now the same EU regulators and the so called victims are complaining this is not what they intended. They want Microsoft too offer all of their Browsers as part of the install of the Operating System. The EU is claiming instead of offering choices that Microsoft has offered no choice at all.

Microsoft chose the correct response. If the EU wants to decide what a company can sell and what they can install, what people can choose to have and when, they they can spend the money and resources on getting these choices to the consumers. Why should Microsoft have to spend its own money on other companies software, especially when this software is all free and has no expected return on costs nor will make a direct profit. Microsoft was told not to include their browser because it was them using their alleged Monopoly power on an operating system to crowd out competitors. However, we are discussing all FREE software, there is no market to crowd out.

The insanity of the Prophet Obama knows no bounds when it comes too Islam. He is again apologizing for America, basically saying we are bad and somehow we are responsible for Islam being a violent religion. Sorry but it is. Unlike other religions which were violent in the past, Islam has not yet rejected the notion that you can genocide and murder in the name of spreading your religion and they still have as part of their dogma the idea that women are less than human and can be murdered for any transgression. Slavery is still accepted and every one of the Muslim countries are backwaters, with no real governments. Sure two have some form of democracy if you include Turkey and Iraq but Iraq still is not fully committed too sense but Turkey still has the culture of Islam which allows murder and assault as punishment for women.

Over 1400 years of history shows what Islam is, constant attempts too invade others, genocide and enslave whomever they don't like. Now this is not too say they are unique as history shows most religions have violence and insane dogma as part of their history. The difference between Islam and the other religions is all of the other popular religions and most of the less prominent religions have rejected the idea of war and murder too further their cause. Some of these religions also accept women as actual humans and don't enslave or kill them outright just because they are women. However, Islam not only has not changed and removed the old world insane dogma and culture they seem intent on keeping it.

Obviously there are many members of Islam, likely a majority who are decent people and have rejected the insane parts of their religion. The problem is the people who lead these countries, sects and organizations of Islam, have not rejected the idea of suppressing women and killing everyone else.

The middle east and all other Islamic countries need too reject the parts of their culture and religion that promote violence and insane behavior. Each of these places could be wonderful if the would just change for the better. Past islamic empires were quite capable for living a great life. Though these like all old empires had both good and bad mixed together, Islam seems too have stagnated by its inability too remove the insane ideas from their culture.

Obama and the liberals do not understand this. Islam's problems began long before America exisited. American has done nothing at all too cause anyone too want too kill all Americans. We do not enslave anyone, we do not stone women too death, we do not kidnap women and rape them as a 4th wife. We do not subjugate our people too dictators and authoritarian regimes. All of these actions are what Islam does. One of the more tiring and moronic claims about the people and culture of the United States is this ridiculous belief that the US is a culture soaked in blood. As the Article in the socialist propaganda machine known as the New York Times suggests, America is a culture of violence because a whopping 16000 murders happen every year, some of them with guns.

"This is an insanely violent society, and the worst of that violence is made insanely easy by the widespread availability of guns."

The author of that article claims America is "insanely" violent and of course guns are the big problem.

Now 16000 dead, with 12000 (as he claims) from guns is a bad thing, though he disregards the fact that 99% of gun use happens to be victims successfully defending themselves from crime. This post is not about gun control, it is about culture.

If the American Culture is insanely violent with 16000 dead out of 300 million people, what would the author call these other cultures in the world.

All of the Islamic countries have the government and religious authorities stoning women to death, sanctioning the enslavement of some and the murder of hundreds of thousands of people in Darfur. These countries have been at war with themselves and everyone they can for centuries and it continues today. Wasn't it the Islamic world that had violent riots resulting in 600 dead over a cartoon in Holland? The Chinese government puts thousands to death for political crimes. Russians in the past murdered 9 million people as an economic program. Places like Iraq have 4 times more guns than people, unlike the US, which only as a 30% gun ownership population. All of South and Central America, Africa, most of Asia are run by despots, warlords and dictators. All of them sanction the murder of millions of people through direct government action or their inaction to stop drug cartels or other criminals. Most of these places are rampant with violence caused by drug trade, prostitution, child prostitution and every other crime. Most of those places require people who work there from the US to be escorted by machine toting soldiers and when you simply visit a hotel in Manila, expect your taxi to be bomb checked.
Then we have the arrogant Europeans the author probably loves. The one part of the world that attempted to conquer everything and genocide half the worlds native people in the process. European countries seem to have riots involving their cars being flipped and burned because they don't like the labor laws being considered and 10000 dead elderly in France from a heat wave because everyone else was on vacation. The political shaman would consider indifference to the plight of dying elderly to be a greater crime than owning a gun. Europeans are responsible for some of the worst and most deadly wars ever. Just read the news from Europe and see how banning guns has not prevented any violence at all.

The fact is America is the safest place too live. The government may be socialist now but it still has not degraded to the point of creating socialist progroms to kill of millions as an economic program, nor are the American socialist in power, capping those who do not share their political beliefs. 16000 dead is bad but in comparison to the rest of the world, it is hardly a reason to declare America is violent. The author of that article is doing a good job with the shell game he is doing to push for gun control. This liberal game is to claim Arabian or Persian or African cultures are not violent because they do not consider the Government violence as a "crime" like murder is. To them this is internal politics not murder. The liberals also do not accept American culture as a real culture, only old world cultures or cultures based on the old world are valid. The Prophet Obama has apparently declared himself the CEO of all companies in America. The argument is these companies that need bailouts, need bailouts due to their incompetence and somehow that gives the President of the United States the authority to dictate the firing of CEOs and Chairmen, as well as dictating who companies will merge with and what these companies should sell.

Where in the Constitution is authority granted to the US government to nationalize and take over the operations of private companies. The only examples of this would be European socialist governments, Soviet Unions, Communist China, Communist Venezuela and others.

Research into the Prophet Obama's past does not reveal where he earned experience as a corporate head of any business. Yet, he is taking control?

Perhaps it makes sense. After all the only businesses that need bailouts are the ones that are the most heavily regulated by the government as well as one of those industries suffering from the government regulated racketeering the unions do.

Besides the nationalism of certain industries, the democrats are imposing socialist programs, taking more money than any previous government. The Prophet Obama declared today that he will work diligently to remove the scourge of nuclear weapons from the planet. Great, so he wants to go back to the same plans the Liberals had for dealing with imperial Japan and Hitler's Germany.

Back then the liberals had everyone sign the Treaty of Versailles and other treaties. The League of Nations started and all of them were for basically a non-proliferation of war, the reduction of the military and restricting weapon power, notably the size and power of battleships. Other treaties, such as treaties with the PLO, with Pakistan over Kashmir, with Saddam Hussein and others all have the same common problem liberals do not seem to understand.

You can't make treaties with tyrants, despots, fanatics and megalomaniacs.

Germany invaded many places before WWII, Japan was colonizing and destroying Korea both countries built Battleships far exceeding those laid out in the treaty. Italy was colonizing Ethiopia. Pakistan eventually invaded Kashmir and the PLO(PA Today) has attacked people breaking treaties for the last 40 years. North Korea today is breaking treaties, Iran has done so forever. All of these places have signed onto the UN, which requires human rights yet most of the so called countries that are part of the UN are despotic regimes that are basically thugs who have claimed a plot of land and are pillaging the people living there.

The Prophet Obama like most democrats and liberals miss one very important philosophical point, it is not the weapons that are the problem, it is the despots and tyrants that are the problem. If you sign a treaty with them, they will shake your hand with a big smile knowing Obama and the libs will comply with the treaty, which means weakening the country so these despots can secretly build up what they will need to invade a weakened country.

Had liberals in the 1930s, actually understood this very basic concept, they may have acted before millions died and German and Japanese hands.

Just review back to past political elections as far back as you want. Taxes, social security, deficits, the financial industry, regulation, inflation, medicare, healthcare, education, unions, infrastructure, war, security, justice, poverty, the environment and on and on.

Name the problem and you will find the politicians of the day, especially during their campaigns will declare one or more of these so called problems that must be solved, always declaring without them these things cant be fixed and of course you have to vote their party in to make sure they can really fix things.

The real problem is the politicians. Choose any of them and you will find the root cause of these problems is the government. In many cases these are government programs and laws enacted for the lie they call the greater good and other problems exist through their inaction, corruption and greed.

Inflation is caused by government taxes and regulation. Every time these jackass politicians enact a law there is a cost. Taxes directly cause prices to increase, environmental laws increase costs, laws protecting unions cause price increases, corporate welfare, fees, laws to prevent corruption and corruption itself, even campaign laws cause prices to sky rocket each year. No where is there evidence of any other source of inflation. Even so called monopolies, were created by or protected by the government. Capitalism self regulates prices. A company that charges too much will lose its customers, the only time this fails to work is when government steps and regulates the industry.

Taxes are a drain on everything and cause the prices of everything to go up and reduce usable property of each individual. This is a fact. The more the government takes the more destitute the population will be, any communist nation is an example of this.

Social Security and medicare were created entirely by the government. Whether you disagree with them entirely or you think they are broken and need fixing, the democrats created both and have used every means available to ensure that their creation is never tampered with by anyone but them.

The government builds and maintains the infrastructure or regulates it. They spend way too much and build stuff that will not last very long. They are the ones who have this entirely in their control and have forever. If there is a complaint about why a road is no good or we don't have enough power plants, it is the government who is in charge of this, the created it and made it the mess it is.

The budget, deficits and national debt are entirely of the governments making. If you have a problem with these, then you have to blame the cause of this problem, the politicians.

The financial industry, energy, healthcare and other businesses are so heavily regulated that it is not surprising these are the same industries that have wrecked the economy or otherwise need bailouts. If there is a problem in any of these areas, the government regulation controlling them is the problem, which are all created by politicians.

Education started for this purpose as quoted from The American Mercury for April 1924 "that the aim of public education is not to fill the young of the species with knowledge and awaken their intelligence. ... Nothing could be further from the truth. The aim ... is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to put down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States... and that is its aim everywhere else. "

With this as the reason politicians insist on government controlled schools, is there really a reason to wonder why these schools are a problem. Though like most government run programs the biggest problem is 80% of the funds going to "administration" while 20% ends up being used for the intended purpose.

We have been "solving" poverty forever yet it is the government that is the cause of keeping the individual down. Rather than letting individuals keep their earnings and getting out of the way so people can make choices about how they will earn money, government gets in the way. The two biggest problems are income tax and property tax. A citizen should be able to purchase property and not have to worry about his property being held hostage to taxes forever. A person should be able to earn money and not have it confiscated. There are many ways for government to tax, the reason they tax the individual is because no individual can defend themselves from tyrannical taxes and regulation. Taxing corporations and states as intended was one of the protections the people had because a state government or a company do have the resources to defend themselves from oppressive taxing and spending.

Security, war, justice and all the rest, the government is in charge of all of these. What ever you don't like exists because the politicians made it that way or by their inaction allows it to continue.

The environment is not even a problem. The earth is warming and cooling on its own yet the politicians will use this to create even more inflation through taxes and regulation. Worse, when there is a real problem with pollution the government does nothing, again creating a problem through inaction.

There are no problems the politicians want to fix that were not caused by them. So where is the sense in letting these idiot politicians fix what they created?

What is more self destructive is the people have placed back in power the Democrats, the party who was in power for the last 80 years nearly unchallenged until will after these problems were created. When they lose some of there power temporarily, they use their control over the media and courts to ensure their programs and laws are not changed or fixed.

Though the Republicans have yet to actually use the power to occasionally get to do anything but stall the destruction caused by the democrats.

People of America, why do you keep voting these people into power, they are the cause of your problems. Do us all a favor and stop voting for career politicians from both parties and try to vote someone in who will simply manage the country efficiently and correctly.

It is amazing how the general voting population can not see that the people they vote for are the problem, no matter which party they belong too.

The Political Shaman has been reading for many weeks about how FDR is wonderful and we should all do what he did to "save" the 1930s economy. Here is the fact often over looked by the liberals in charge.

FDR failed to solve anything.

The crash of 1929, Hoover's year of mistakes, followed by a democrat congress and senate adding too those mistakes before FDR took over should have eventually ended this recession in about 3 years. It is well known that recessions and crashes do not normally take 16 years to end. No I would not call WWII a successful economy. FDR can claim 8 years of depression plus WWII. 8 Years of depression. The democrats took the majority in 1931 and began enacting insane laws to "help" with Hoover signing these plans in and the senate being 50/50, we can see the what the democrats had planned and it was failing before FDR took over. FDRs plans were too spend insanely on anything, regulate everything and tax everything. The only difference between FDR and the Prophet Obama is Obama is doing hundreds of times worse than FDR.

FDR's fix for the crash of 1929 resulted in a recession becoming a depression. The 4 years of US involvement in WWII did not fix anything. The country was conscripted to produce for the war effort. All factories were forced to provide war materiel. We have the best foods going to the war effort. While these actions were the right thing to do, to defeat germany and japan, the end result of these efforts was a completely destroyed world economy and the US was the only country capable of sustaining the world. We were the only game in town, so the economy had to go up.

After 4 years of war, the country probably forgot there was a recession. This is what ended the depression, people forgetting it was there or placing it on the heap of irrelevance after facing the Axis of WWII.

Obama, is doing everything FDR did, including reducing the military or limiting its ability to improve technology, knowing there are hostile countries in the world. Obama is set to create the biggest depression ever, either now or when the bill for the borrowing comes due.

Is Obama and the democrats actually planning a WWIII to get us out of their mess? FDR certainly did not plan WWII but if the Democrats want to keep using FDR as the prime example of liberal perfection, then it stands to reason that they need a war.

FDR was successful at a couple of things. His plans did ensure democrats ruled unopposed for almost 2 decades, using the plight of the depression and taxing the people to pay for and keep democrat power, remember to democrats a crisis is just an opportunity to do big things. FDRs plans also worked well at allowing socialism to take hold, exactly as Khrushchev anticipated years later. He was right, American would never adopt marxism overnight or through revolution but they would a little at a time. FDR certainly helped this. Had he not started his new deal socialism, we would not have a democrat party passing every socialist idea possible and taxing for it today.

Russia is now offering hope that global disarmament talks can begin and possibly succeed. What could possibly have changed this year as opposed to the previous 20 years.

Russia knows that the liberal idiots running the democratic party of the US is in charge. Why is this significant? Germany and Japan both were building larger battleships even as the signed the treaty. GM loses billions last year, sales down for the entire automotive industry are down so far and the bottom may not even be in sight yet. Banks falling apart, insurance companies going down and the list goes on.

So why the bailouts for everyone except white male construction workers and highly skilled professionals, as Obama's people said.

In a CAPITALIST economy, these companies are failures. By definition, they are not worth the effort of saving because if they were, they would not need a bailout. There are major banks and small ones who do not need bailouts. There are insurance companies that will survive without bailouts. Some Foreign Auto manufacturers are going to make it through this so called crisis without any government bailout.

Prophet Obama, how about letting capitalism run its natural course and let these business fail. It will not hurt in the long run. The workers will be picked up by competitors, as will the assets and resources of each failed business. The customers will still be customers for some company out there.

There is one thing to government could do, reduce regulation and taxes, especially regulation. These actions might be enough to save these failing business because it does appear most of the businesses needing bailouts are in industries heavily regulated by the government.

Are we tired of the bailouts yet? This is starting to sound like a joke though not funny considering these bailouts at best will delay the economic recovery and we better hope the GAO's prediction that these bailouts are going to hurt us in the long run.

With The Prophet Obama declaring a new 500+ billion bailout every few days, it makes the political shaman wonder just HOW they can spend it all effectively. The government still has not spent money appropriated years ago for securing the borders, hiring more law enforcement and who knows what else. Aside from the problem that exists with Obama creating the largest deficits by far, expanding government and spending in 2 months what it normally takes 8 years to do, the reality is there is no physical way to spend it all in a short period of time. With the current and growing 2 Trillion socialist bailout program and the actual budget sitting around 3.6 trillion it is physically impossible to spend so much money all at once. Granted the money is intended to be spread out over some number of years but that just proves that this democrat spending bill is nothing more than a way to suck the economy dry of every dollar they can. If their goal was to "Fix" anything, then spending the money in the same year or two would be more effective. However, the physical impossibility of a few hundred people even figuring out just what to spend this money on, is going to take longer than a couple of years, again rendering the bailout money pointless.

Still as the title of the blog hints at, the Democrats have found a buzzword to make their intellectually challenged voters happy and they got lucky with being able to essentually write a blank check on the entire economy.

So expect more and more bailouts. Just keep in mind that the governments combined are pushing their way past the 50% mark for confiscating all money and since the democrats are in charge, they will not have a problem taxing too 100% of the economy, since their goal is a new marxism.

The Prophet will predict that the economy will get far worse and that it is the worse since the depression.

The Political Shaman reviewed the last 77 congresses on the House.gov and senate.gov websites as well as a list of presidents to determine power.

The evidence shows that the democrats have enjoyed many more years of power and have resided over the vast majority of bad years, recessions and bad ideas, such as their desire to keep slavery or their attempt to help the French get their colony back in Vietnam. The data shows that putting democrats in full control or complete power is certain to result in a very bad economy if not a bad decade in general. While republicans are not 100% capabale of running things well, history shows the few times they were in power resulted in a good economy more often as well as their being the the right side of ideas, such as affirming women the right to vote.

Though it would seem to ensure a good decade the best option is a mix of power, with no one party in full control of anything.

The highest Power is defined as total control of congress and the executive branch with filibuster proof majorities. This is followed by majorities in congress and having the executuve. This is followed by owning 2 of the 3, either the house and senate, the senate and presidency or the house and presidency.

Decades considered good is subjective but there is a general knowledge about the success or desire for certain decades. Such as the 1990s, the 1950s and the 1920s. While decades like the depression, the 1970s, 1960s and the civil war can be considered bad. A reveiw of the economy, what wars existed at the time, general knowledge and research all contributed to determine a good from a bad decade.

The last 77 congresses would begin in the year 1857 with the 35th congress. This congress was chosen because this is the first congress where the republicans were actually a factor in their quest to end slavery.

The last time Republicans had filibuster proof control was the 66th congress in 1921, which was when the Republicans affirmed women had the right to vote. The democrats have enjoyed well over 20 years of filibuster proof control after 1921.

After 1921, the republicans had 3 congresses with full control, while the Democrats have enjoyed 18 congresses in full control, including the current congress. It is noted that all of the congresses of Democrat control are recessions and decades of strife and crisis.

Of the 77 Congresses reviewed, 31 had recessions. Of those 31 recessions, 25 of them were under Democrat control. This is 74% of all recessions that were entirely in democrat hands or the majority of time in recession was under democrat control.

Of the 15 decades that occured during the 77 congresses, 7 of them are considered bad decades. All 7 were under democrat control for all or the overwhelming majority of time. This would include the Great Depression, The 1960s, The 1970s, The 1940s, The Post WW I recession, WW II and the Civil War era. It is noted that the democrats were in control of the Confederacy in their quest to keep slavery and the economy of both the confederacy they controlled and the Union were affected by democrat actions to keep slavery. Additionally, when democrats obtained some control back duing the post civil war era, their attempts to oppress former slaves also created strife in the country as well as the economy.

Of the 8 decades considered good ones, 2 of them were under Rebublican control, which makes republicans the only party that can claim a history of having good decades under their rule. The other 6 decades were under mixed rule, including the 1990s, where republicans controlled congress.

As is stands today, the democrats are spending 100 billion a day. The Budget coming into this first year of the Prophets rule sees around 4.3 trillion dollars. Within 8 days of Obama, the democrats have added 1.6 trillion more and by today the number is reaching 2 trillion dollars. Adding in the typical State government spending of another 1.5 trillion or more and we have a 7.8 Trillion dollars in government stealing the peoples money and spending it on who knows what.

The entire GDP of the country of only 13.5 trillion, which means the government is taking 58% of all money the United States makes each year. This assumes the democrats stop adding to the budget, which is not likely based on historical evidence. At the rate they are spending, they will have confiscated the entire GDP by July.

Thank you liberals for voting these morons in power. The country will not survive the government confiscating even 58% of the money and we will be in a communist state, should the democrats succeed in confiscating all money by July.

Look at history, FDR FAILED. The new deal did nothing but make a bad recession worse and extend it for an additional 10 years. Of course, if you consider the democrats of the 1930s used the depression as a means to hold power, then the New Deal was a success. Considering Rahm Emmanuel's statement that crisis is good because it is a means to do big (and really dumb) things.

How the democrats removed the protections Madison described to prevent the Federal Government from becoming what it is today.

The Founding Fathers of the United States of American did not have unanimous agreement over the creation of the constitution or the creation of the national government of the United States of America. Two of the primary debaters on this subject were James Madison and Patrick Henry. Madison argued for the constitution as it was originally written, believing that some level of centralized national government was needed to protect the people from invasion and some other important tasks. Henry believes the checks and balances designed into the constitution are not enough to safeguard the country from tyranny, especially given that this government would have a military at its disposal.
Both men debated well and the arguments have both been proven right and wrong over time. One of Patrick Henry’s main arguments was about the checks and balances to keep a Federal Government limited. He states;
“If you make the citizens of this country agree to become the subjects of one great consolidated empire of American, your government will not have sufficient energy to keep them together. Such a government is incompatible with the genius of republicanism. There will be no checks, no real balances, in this government.”

Henry believes this proposed government is incompatible with republicanism and the supposed checks and balances will not be sufficient. Henry is also concerned with the fact that this new government not only would have no check on its becoming a tyranny but also would have the means to carry out that tyranny. As he suggests in the following statement:
“It has been repeatedly said here, that the great object of a national government was national defense. That power which is said to be intended for security and safety may be rendered detestable and oppressive. “

Henry is right to be concerned if his belief that the government would become a tyranny, then the tools used for national defense could be inflicted upon the citizens of the nation.
It is interesting to note that Madison did address these concerns. Madison argues that the checks and balances would in fact keep the government from becoming a tyranny. Madison states;
“When we come to the Senate, its members are elected by the states in their equal and political capacity. But had the government been completely consolidated, the Senate would have been chosen by the people in their individual capacity, in the same manner as the members of the other house. Thus it is of a complicated nature, and this complication, I trust, will be found to exclude the evils of absolute consolidation, as well as of a mere confederacy.

What is interesting about both arguments is both are right. Looking at the historical record, the country was in no danger of the failure of the checks and balances as the Constitution intended. Until the year 1913, the Senate was elected by the States as Madison describes. Madison was right stating as long as the states elected Senators, Henry’s consolidated government problem would not occur. In 1913, though the states were removed from the election process and today it would seem Henry’s fears may be coming true. Without the states to place a check on the Federal Government, it has grown exponentially and is involved in far more than the Constitution ever assigned to the Government. It can be argued that the so called “security” laws passed in the last few years could be construed as potential problems anticipated by Henry. Henry anticipates these issues with this statement;
“With respect to that part of the proposal; which says that every power not granted remains with the people, it must be previous to adoption, or it will involve this country in inevitable destruction. To talk of it as a thing subsequent, not as one of your unalienable rights, is leaving it to the causal opinion of the Congress who shall take up the consideration of the matter. They will not reason with you about the effect of this Constitution, the will not take the opinion of this committee concerning its operation. They will construe it as they please.”

Henry is arguing the concept of all rights are held by the people should be clearly defined as unalienable and existing outside the context of the constitution. His fear is that the way the Constitution is written, Congress can define anything they want regarding the governments power and what is a right of the people. It is interesting to note that Madison argued for this same fear against the Bill of Rights years later. Today in the 21st century, it is clear that Congress is in fact doing as they please with rights. Concepts like privileges as opposed to rights, debates about the second amendment or a right to privacy should not take place, yet as Henry anticipated Congress has granted itself these powers over rights that should not have existed.
Madison goes further in his debate to describe his other check and balance to keep the Federal Government limited. Madison states;
“When, therefore, direct taxes are not necessary, they will not be recurred to. It can be of little advantage to those in power to raise money in a manner oppressive t the people. To consult the conveniences of the people will cost them nothing, and in many respects will be advantageous to them. Direct taxes will only be recurred to for great purposes.”

Madison describes that the other check on the Federal government is limiting the money available to the government. Note that direct taxes as originally defined in the Constitution were not allowed unless there was a reason for those taxes, when the reason was over, so the taxes ended.. Money and an army are the two things needed for a tyranny to function. The states control over the senate and funding was to be the check on tyranny. This worked fine until 1913, when an amendment was passed removing this restriction and the last check on the federal government designed to prevent what Patrick Henry was concerned about. Since that time the Federal government has become the consolidated entity Henry feared.
In conclusion it would appear both men were correct. The checks and balances Madison identified as protection from a consolidated government, specifically he states electing Senators and restricting the national government’s taxable resources did in fact work until those checks were removed. The federal government was able to perform its duties without expanding into areas not originally tasked to the central government. It is also true that once the two checks were removed, the government has become what Henry feared. A consolidated entity that will interpret any thing they want into the government’s supposed responsibility and use the threat of force to obtain the money needed to enforce it.
Madison argues further about the type of government that Henry was proposing in keeping the current government of the time. Madison describes how Henry is complaining about the stricter requirements for amending the constitution. Madison argues;
“He[Henry] complains of this Constitution, because it requires the consent of at least three fourths of the states to introduce amendments which shall be necessary for the happiness of the people. The assent of so many he urges as too great an obstacle to the admission of salutary amendments, which, he strongly insists, ought to be at the will of a bare majority.”
Madison is correct in his statement about republics. The belief of republican government was that direct democracy is not good nor is minority rule. As seen today, certain states have laws being passed not by legislatures but directly by the people. This bypasses the safety of a republican government and opens the door to “mob” rule as the Founders defined it. At the same time in the 21st century, the smallest minority, meaning small group or even an individual can force his will, beliefs or needs onto the majority with the force of government being used to enforce this. The fears of both men exist in some form today because the original design of the constitution was changed. It remains to be seen if a tyranny will develop.
Patrick Henry did over react in his argument against the constitution. Overall this republic has been successful. Henry did not anticipate that it would take well over 140 years for the government to become what he feared. Instead of arguing against the constitution, he could have looked for a way to prevent the problems that exist today. James Madison did put too much faith in the people. The founders did not put a check to prevent the government from removing the checks and balances protecting the people from the government. Both men recognized the concept of unalienable rights though neither of these men pushed to have the concept defined better in the constitution. These problems may not have affected the early republic but are certainly affecting the United States today. Every year more rights are declared privileges by the government and the government continues to believe it has a blank check on everyone’s personal income together these represent Patrick Henry’s consolidated government, which no longer pays attention to the citizens and the government obtaining the financial means to carry out any kind of plan it wants good or bad.

The United States has been around for over 200 years. It is arguably the oldest surviving government that has never had any changes. The United States is by far the most prosperous country in the world. So the question is why has no other country anywhere in the last 233 years ever tried government American style.

In all cases of the hundreds of countries they try despotism, communism, totalitarianism, theocracies all of which are horrendous and result in millions of people dead and the ones still alive poor, starving and defacto slaves to the elite few. If none of these nightmares are chosen they will choose European parliamentary style governments.

Granted most European countries and Japan are doing ok but the reality is they were also built back up with free money from the US after WWII, so it is easy to be prosperous, when you get a leg up. However, all of those countries still have racism running rampant, they have higher unemployment, higher taxes, higher costs of living and so called "free" services like healthcare that will likely leave you dead before you get that heart bypass and the former colonies and other countries are even worse off than the Europeans. Parlimentary style government is certainly better than all of those other choices mentioned but is it really the best choice?

These countries still pass discriminatory laws, they support class division, they are highly taxed societies or societies that are little better than the totalitarian ones with how poor the places are and what services are provided. Most of these places have very little GDP, low salaries and nearly all of them are a coalition break up away from total collapse of the government.

But even with all of that, you would think one out of the 200+ countries would have said, lets try it the american way, instead of the way of our colonial oppressors.

So why not choose American style constutional republics for a government.

The success of the American Constitution and its Government is a result of removing old world traditions and cultural influences that were unproductive or detrimental.

You can't have aristocrats, classes, untouchables, emporers, warlords, chiefs and caliphs in America. You cant have bibles or sharias or zen be the final say in law and what is right or wrong in America. You cant have religion in charge nor the rule by divine right.

To be like america each individual citizen is equal too all others under the law. You can't legislate their thoughts of behavior and you certainly can't dictate what an American does with thier life. So the first problem with this is of course, just how can you build a road or bridge or any other project without skilled professionals. The other statement about white construction workers is simply blatant racism. In fact, discriminating against Caucasians is encouraged by the liberal democrats running America. Being the first full day in office it is very unlikely his magic wand is fully charged and therefore will not solve all problems instantly as the democrat voters believe he will. Lets ensure that we record the statistics of today. “Rule one: Never allow a crisis to go to waste,” Mr. Emanuel said in an interview on Sunday. “They are opportunities to do big things.”

Now that the Prophet Obama will be crowned king of the democrats tomorrow this complete the triumvirate of power for the socialist like political party Obama leads. The party will have complete control of the House and Senate as well as the Executive office. They are only one or two votes short of filibuster proof control (we wont know until the democrats have finished "finding" ballot boxes and "determining the intent of the voter" in Minnesota).
With such a small margin of filibuster possibilities and the complete control of the mainstream media, the democrats have defacto complete power.

We have no modern history of republicans with that kind of control. The closest would be way back when the republicans affirmed women had the right to vote.

Well one thing that is certain about the democrats is they will make the US military ineffective. Besides massive cutbacks like they always do, they will also do things like turn over protection of us to the UN and we can hope we don't get invaded and divided out as a spoil of war as Poland was 214 years ago.

I am amazed though that with the fact that the rest of the world has a long history of constantly invading others, current threats from tyrannical regimes like Iran and sabre rattling from supposed allies, the liberals will not allow a missile defense system to be built.

The moronic Cold War mentality of mutual destruction being a deterrent will certainly not work with states run by megalomaniacs running places like North Korea or fools like Bin Laden. Even with more reasonable countries like Russia, China and others we have a risk.

A missile defense presents options we should have. Currently, if anyone sends a missile to us, we have only one choice, retaliation.

The first problem is the liberals are declaring that millions of Americans being killed in the name of having no missile defense is a perfectly ok choice. Though it is consistent at least, since being liberal means following Marxist like ideas which does justify allowing millions to die as long as the Utopian ideas of the liberals are maintained. For the rest of us it means we would have to allow people to be killed by a missile and then we respond with our own missiles.

Who gave the liberals the right to sacrifice your life, instead of doing what the Constitution mandates, which is protect you for a foreign attack?

The second problem is one of choices. If a defense system is in place it and removes the threat, we don't have to retaliate with our own nukes. If no one on our side gets killed, then we can retaliate with a variety of responses from diplomacy, conventional weapons or nukes. Plus we have the added benefit of no one in the US being sacrificed for the liberal agenda.

Of course there is the very bizarre logic of liberals. They don't care of Iran and North Korea obtain weapons. They don't want us to stop them. The liberals don't want us upsetting antagonistic countries, yet the liberals go to any extreme to prevent us from having a defense against these weapons. At the very least, the liberals could demand that North Korea and Iran stop obtaining weapons with the same zeal they use to prevent the US from developing a defense against those weapons.

Well what do you expect from the Prophet Obama and the liberals, they also claim to advocate for women and supposedly are against oppression of certain races yet at the same time the only countries they seem to back are the Islamic countries that oppress women and enslave people.

I guess with the liberals capable of justifying supporting countries that oppress women and enslave people, letting Americans die in a nuclear attack is really not so extreme to the liberals.

The job of government is to protect the country from foreign attack, this should be all the justification needed to develop weapons and defense capabilities.

What is interesting is following more of the data it seems that DC is the top place. It is amazing to discover that the DC and its suburbs are doing just fine with housing prices and sales. The median income is going up still and they don't seem to be too affected by the recession.

Well doing more research turns up some stats on how there are more government employees in total compared to years ago. There are also more contractors, more high paid lobbyists, more corporate contracts and more of just about every jackass you can think of sucking our tax money off as it is handed out by the government.

If we need a reason why this economy is bad, lets look at the people sucking a massive portion of the economy to line their pockets in DC. This certainly explains why everyone in DC, from the idiot think tanks to the Prophet Obama all want these massive government bailouts. Obviously, to keep paying for their lavish lifestyles at the expense of the rest of us having to live with less or barely live at all.

Further review of that map seems to show that the money seems to go to many places where state capitals. Not in all cases but in many it would seem the politicians, bureaucrats, lobbyists and other government leeches are ensuring they continue to live like kings during this recession.

Just think, before the Prophet Obama has officially started running the country, the liberals at his request have taken almost 3 times the current deficit in less than two weeks. All on these "bailouts" but at least now we know what they are spending the money on. I would not want Pelosi, Obama, the media or lobbyists to suffer too much during this recession.

I have heard endless stories now about corporate welfare, budget deficits in various states, complaining about all kinds of economic woes and demands by everyone for the government to "fix" the economy.

Well there are a few problems with this demand to "fix" the economy.

People, the politicians are the cause. They are the ones who have meddled with our lives to the point that the economy could not sustain it any longer. Sure there could be other factors but the biggest drag on the economy is politicians and their endless confiscation of the largest chunk of the economy through taxes and their endless regulation that causes everything to cost more.

So politicians here in California, The Prophet Obama, Queen Pelosi, Court Jester Reid and all of the rest of you marxist liberal democrats... do us all a favor and get the hell out of the way. Get rid of the useless regulations from taxing me for what I exhale, regulations telling me what toliet I can buy, mandating interest rates, preventing us from drilling oil, well the list is endless and the bottom line here is any regulation increases the cost for us.

Therefore, politicians, get rid of the pointless regulation, the ones with Zero basis in any kind of reality and the ones that allow Unions to control government jobs. Remove regulations on your own activities with purchases, honestly, I would rather have a couple of scams done by politicians and their construction company brother than the far more expensive regulation in place to "prevent" those crimes. I certainly don't mind having actual pollutants removed from air, water and earth but CO2? I forgot people, the politicians do prefer to regulate molecules that cant be proven to be a factor in anything and because we all exhale it and plants use it, they can be assured of an endless supply to regulate.

If the politicians simply got out of the way, they would not need to do anything since the flow of money would be greater and sustained long term and they would not have to get their fingers on as much of our money as they do.

FDR tried this excessive government spending plan in 1933 and all it did was give us yet more taxes and extend a recession into a 12 year depression. Now I know it was successful in ensuring the Democrats maintained power for 50 years but really, people, do you have to screw up the lives of everyone just to get your power for a decade or two? Would it not be better for The Prophet and other democrats to actually become statesman and govern properly and ethically? I would think that would result in more elections being won than lost.

The government could easily reduce costs, thanks to unions, regulation and simply idiotic spending practices, the government spends far more than they should on everything. Examples would be how school districts need a decade to build a school costing millions more all because every government agency has to be involved and put in their two cents worth of bad advice. Or the inevitable stories of $2000 hammers because of some regulation on where to purchase them, how they get purchased, quantities required, and 200 forms of paperwork to fill out to bid it out.

Or could the government possibly just get out of healthcare all together. With no actual demonstrated proof of a successful socialist healthcare program anywhere, I would think the opposite would be the best option. How about letting insurance companies compete across states and get out of dictating the price of everything indirectly through medicare.

The Political Shaman could fill this blog with endless examples of politicians enacting the regulations that create inflation and the oppressive taxation that together are killing this economy. If the politicians would end this belief they have that they have the right to all of our money, then perhaps they would be inclined to reduce their impact on the economy and maybe it would recover and sustain itself for a long period of time.

The current path of bailouts, increasing taxes, increasing regulation and increased government intrusion on our lives will do nothing but make this economy worse than it is.

What the liberals and the Prophet Obama are doing is announcing this decade of recession because they know they will cause it and if you already think it will happen, then when it does, instead of firing The Prophet Obama, Queen Pelosi and Court Jester Reid, you will shack your ostrich heads and declare Obama has to stay because he predicted this 10 year depression so he must be smart. You will think it was inevitable because the liberal biased media never stood up and called those fool politicians on their prediction.

The new deal was successful, it allowed the democrats to maintain and additional 50 years of control. The democrats imposed nearly every punishing tax on us in the 30s and again in the 60s, the other decade of liberal perfection.

The media did this with gas prices for the last decade. Always announcing horrendous summer gas prices in January so by the time it happened, the people did nothing because it was old news and expected. The democrats are doing that with this recession. They are predicting a depression, so the democrat voters, bury their heads in the sand as the feel comforted that the democrats predicted the depression(they created) and therefore must be the answer to get out of it. I point out that there has never been a democrat controlled decade that was a good one.

So please democrat voters, make sure you keep the Democrat politicians in. I sure do want to spend the next 10 years watching the liberals steal every dime I have in higher taxes and inflation caused by regulations as we all join the new soviet bread lines. Why do I say this? Well Khrushchev predicted that America could be spoon fed a little bit of socialism every year for decades and then they will be communist. Guess what, the Prophet Obama and the liberal democrats must have been paying attention, since they are succeeding.

I can't wait to be taxed on my breathing, since I produce carbon dioxide with every breath, wow the Marxists must think I am a polluter too.

FYI... the last time Republicans had significant but not filibuster proof control of everything was when they affirmed women had the right to vote though I would say that it is too bad that was so long ago, none of those guys are running for office today.

The race card and Blagojevich's buddy Burris

The race card should be dead. The Prophet Obama is president and he is of African decent. A minority is in the White House, so racism is clearly no longer a problem in the United States and it is not. Other than the few fools in back water places still living as Civil War democrats, and the few fools who voted for the Prophet because his is black, racism is dead.

So the race card should not work anymore. What is amusing though is the race card, long a tool of the democrats who created segregation to use against the party that ended slavery or anyone else who disagrees with them, this tool called a race card only works because of the media.

Right now the only racism in this country is the few laws the government makes to oppress Caucasian and Asian people the few people who still practice things like affirmative action and of course when the media makes unfounded accusations.

Now we get to January and this arrogant Blagojevich appoints this idiot Burris to the senate and what happens, the democrats and media roll over. What the heck kind of power do these two have. How could an idiot governor who committed crimes and a nobody fool who could not get elected to anything as all of his previous positions were appointments and his 4 failed senate runs, force Reid, Pelosi and the rest of the Marxist democrats in the party and media completely roll over and allow this Burris in the building?

This just makes me wonder what did Burris offer Blagojevich for that senate seat?

I do laugh though to see the democrats caught by the race card, a tool of their own invention used against them.

I am amazed about this entire Blagojevich crime. The man has blatantly been caught selling a senate seat and was already under investigation for a variety of other crimes and the media is rolling over for this guy. One of his infractions involved the media itself. Blagojevich is the perfect example of exactly the wrong kind of person to elect to anything and the media does nothing. This guy attacks journalists at the Chicago Tribune and then attacks the tribune and the media does nothing.

Why is the media rolling over for this guy?

I realize that the media is biased for the socialist democrats but there comes a point when you have to have some credibility. Media, you are looking like fools by not bringing this fool politician down. The way you attacked Trent Lott years ago and Newt Gingrich proves you know how to take down a politician.

Yes I am calling Obama The Prophet. I feel that any man with a Messiah complex should at least have a title that is more in line with what is probably happening. I am firmly under the belief that no one can eliminate from their mind their childhood and the facts are he lived in an islamic influenced family in an islamic country at an age when you learn the core of your ethics and beliefs. Is that inherently bad, not really if the guy was not a socialist. As a socialist however, he will have the tendency to believe that it is perfectly ok for terrorists, rogue governments or anyone to attack, invade and massacre as long as they are willing to consider negotiating. You should know what I mean, the last 50 years of UN socialist belief that you can negotiate with psycho dictators and beg them to stop trying to kill you as long as we just try to understand them.

I am also under the impression that the liberals actually believe that because The Prophet Obama is running America that the idiots running Iran and every other Islamic country will some how decide to stop trying to genocide America and we would no longer be the great satan.

I know it is a stupid belief. Since Islam has spent the last 1400 years conquering, killing, enslaving and genociding various populations (of course is the same as many religions when it comes to conquering and genocide) there is no reason to believe they will just hang up 1400 years of insanity just because The Prophet Obama is president.

However, we are talking about liberals. They also believe after centuries of failed attempts, some form of Marxism will work too. If the liberals still believe Marxism works, they are dumb enough to believe The Prophet Obama being president will somehow make those nut cases happy.

After all the liberals believed Hitler really meant it when he signed the non-proliferation of war treaty.

Determining your rights

Alexander Hamilton stated in Federalist Paper # 84 suggested that the US Constitution inherently defended all rights so there is no need to list any for protection.

Hamilton was concerned that such a power would be dangerous in the hands of the government.

"I go further, and affirm that bills of rights, in the sense and in the extent in which they are contended for, are not only unnecessary in the proposed constitution, but would even be dangerous. They would contain various exceptions to powers which are not granted; and on this very account, would afford a colorable pretext to claim more than were granted. For why declare that things shall not be done which there is no power to do?"

Hamilton was right. For the last 100 years the supreme court has made rulings with statements similar to this decision in the Garner v U.S. 424 US 648 (1976) case, "The privilege against self-incrimination can be claimed against specific disclosures sought on a tax return."

Considering that the RIGHT to not incriminate yourself is actually part of the bill of rights we should all start to consider what it is the politicians are doing to the United States. I have heard many times in debate, conversation, talk radio shows, news media and books comments such as "I have never seen a right to privacy in the Constitution". This is amusing because technically there are no rights granted by the Constitution to the people. As the Declaration of Independence states rights are unalienable. They exist for the individual because he exists. No government has the authority to remove rights. By default, the government has no authority to grant rights either because the people already have every right.

Hamilton believed that the constitution was written well enough to ensure an understanding that it was a directive to the politicians that all rights were held by the people and the government is to protect those rights. The bill of rights even has a 9th and 10th amendment specifically identifying that the government has not been granted some sort of directive to begin to grant or remove rights from individuals or states.

The case from 1976 and others going back 60 years or so, have shown the court creating this concept called privileges. This is ridiculous because the government declaring a right as a privileged is in effect granting itself the authority of what your rights are and taking away the ones they find inconvenient.

This is just part of a long process by progressives, liberals and what have you to create their socialist state. A right to privacy, a right to own a gun, a right to drive or a right to 'not have the liberals bothering you' are all impediments to the goal of the liberals desire to create the ultimate socialist state.

Why do all of you liberal, democrat and even republican voters seem to be perfectly fine with the government controlling every right you have or in effect removing all rights? There is no gray area here, either you have unalienable rights or the government is socialist and grants privileges it deems necessary for you to have.
